I think the bathrooms could with a thorough scrub , and maintenance as around the hand railing near toilet the cover over the screws was sliding around, shower curtain replaced, mould in the grouting, other than that it was comfortable and mainly clean

Blue Lagoon on Moreton Island is only accessible by boat and then 4WD. As moreton is the 3rd largest sand island in the world, the water is always close to the surface and is filtered by the sand, so it is fresh water - any brown tinge to the water is tannin from the tea trees. The Lagoon is a short walk from the carpark. Tours and 4WD hire are available from Tangalooma Resort or you can take your own 4WD over on the Micat Vehicular Ferry

4WD is the only way to get around on Moreton Island, but Tangalooma Resort has an expanse of beach that is pedestrian only. It is blocked off either end by old logs - this is the Northern end looking towards the wrecks.
