A good bar basics hotel, very easy check in with the electronic key. Good location, close to great stuff and the subway not fancy but a perfectly acceptable place for a night stay in New York

It served its purpose by giving us somewhere to sleep and shower. Overall- not as nice as advertised but I feel like that’s a typical NYC “budget” hotel

Good travel hotel. Rooms aren't big and it was a little loud on the weekend. Our room looked across the street to a bar. We put both our phones on white noise and it was fine to sleep. The staff were all very good and helpful. The rooftop deck is very cool with great views of the NYC skyline, including the Empire State Building. Overall, a good place to stay for our visit.

The Ridge is a good option for travelers who want to stay in a convenient location in New York City. The location makes it easy to explore the city, and it is a practical choice for visitors who plan to spend most of their time sightseeing. I recommend checking the room size and amenities before booking to make sure they meet your expectations. Overall, it can be a good choice depending on your travel needs and budget.

Perfect for the real NY experience. Smaller, cheaper rooms, an amazing rooftop view, fast WiFi, central AC and everything we wanted to do in the city was 2 subway lines away or right around the corner. The lady at the front desk was an angel and even when we came stumbling back in at 4am there were snacks waiting for us on the counter. After staying here I don’t think any other hotel makes sense coming back.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. However, probably not an ideal location to stay. You can hear other guests very clearly and the outside as well. We stayed in a room with a king sized bed so not very much walkway. If you need extra towels or toilet paper you are welcome to help yourself to them in their basement. The subway is right around the corner and cvs is right down the street.

The room was clean and tidy and all the amenities we needed were there. We were also able to grab our own downstairs whenever we needed more. All the staff was super sweet and helpful. It’s located near SoHo so there are lots of cute shops around a short walk away. We also had a thermostat in the room so we were able to adjust the temperature ourselves. The only thing was with our room being on the ground floor, it was a bit noisy. Other then that, it was a great stay and I would recommend to anyone going to New York!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the keyless entry but the email went to my spam folder so that threw me off. The room was superficially clean and the linens were clean. The tub was very slippery and there was mold. Also the water was really hot! Once I found out I could get my own clean towels downstairs that was awesome. Overall a safe basic property with some cool art and convenient location for me but could use deep cleaning of the shower
