"Truly a magical place. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The grounds were exquisitely manicured. The castle was awesome inspiring. Could not recommend it highly enough!"

"Stayed at the Lodges because the castle was unavailable. The lodge was very outdated. Definitely not a 4 star experience. We had a beautiful view of a field of dandelions. We were treated like second class citizens throughout our brief stay. Went to the castle to check in and was told check in was at the golf pro shop. Huh? Went to the pro shop five minutes before the 4pm check time and was casually told room wasn’t ready and to come back in 30 minutes. Was promised breakfast to-go at 7:30 since our flight out of Dublin airport was early and dining service did not start until 8am. Of course, no breakfast to-go was ready when we departed at 7:45. All of other stays in Ireland were outstanding. Take my advice, stay clear of the Lodges at Kilkea Castle. "

"The hotel is well equiped and the right price for the location and level of service. The bar service is lacking however - I was attending a wedding at the venue as well as staying, and the general consensus amoungst the wedding party was the bar service was slow and limited."

"Had a brilliant stay at Hotel Osprey - couldn't fault it at all. We were there for the Punchestown racing festival and would highly recommend staying there. The bar/restaurant was a fab for a chilled evening post racing - staff were excellent and the food was very good. Bed very comfortable and the room well appointed. The shuttle to and from the track was very welcome and all the staff we encountered were friendly. Breakfast was regular hotel breakfast fare but no complaints. The hotel felt comfortable and relaxed and I enjoyed spending time there. The location to Naas high street was perfect - a 7 minute walk and we had fun spending time in the local pubs - the locals were very friendly and it was a great atmosphere. We will return to the festival and would absolutely be staying at the Osprey again."
