“I had a lovely stay at the Scandic Hotel. My room was clean and spacious with a desk to work on and a very comfy chair to relax and read. I had a great river view room on the 17th floor. “The location is excellent and considering the reasonable price — especially with breakfast included — it’s quite a rare find. However, the affordable rate does come with some compromises. “Lobby was very warm, rooms are not well equipped with air conditioning or at least it does not work good enough to handle the 28C evenings. Location is great as it is just a few step from the main train station. Smoking area is put right outside of the hotel entry, forcing the health conscious majority to inhale second hand smoke when entering and leaving the hotel.
