“We absolutely loved this wonderful hotel! The king bed was incredibly comfortable, and having two separate duvets meant we both slept like babies. The bathroom was so thoughtfully designed too – with dual sinks so we could get ready at the same time without bumping elbows! Little touches made it special: the bamboo/wooden toothbrushes and razors felt both eco-chic and luxurious, and our room’s sofa and chaise lounge were perfect for relaxing. But the breakfast? Oh, it was an absolute dream!……

“The location is excellent and considering the reasonable price — especially with breakfast included — it’s quite a rare find. However, the affordable rate does come with some compromises. The facilities are rather dated and not very well equipped. The front desk is only staffed from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., and rooms use traditional keys. There is no fridge or safe in the room. Please also note that there’s a radiator but no air conditioner. Housekeeping was unfortunately the weakest part of my stay.……

“I had a lovely stay at the Scandic Hotel. My room was clean and spacious with a desk to work on and a very comfy chair to relax and read. I had a great river view room on the 17th floor. The breakfast was welcoming and offered a variety of bread, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, hot food, cereals etc. The hotel was not far from the Frankfurt Stn (6mins)and it was just a couple of streets away from the river. “You need to ask otherwise they will not clean up your room during your stay. The water pressure is so low and difficult to take shower. Staffs not very helpful.”
