“Location: Excellent, on Ortigia island but close to mainland. Near open air market & many good restaurants. Facilities: Common areas are superb & luxurious. Room is OK, not great. Bathroom too small, especially shower, which also leaks after each use. Service: At breakfast, service is excellent. Housekeeping is OK, sometimes good, sometimes a bit off. Food: Judging from breakfast, restaurant probably very good. In conclusion: If the bathroom was larger and better, it would truly be a 5-star……

“Even before we walked in the door, the staff had begun to demonstrate the superior level of their service. Parking even our tiny car was a challenge due to the narrow street, but two of the staff arrived almost simultaneously and got us parked with ease. Superior service continued with each member of the staff and management, making our stay easy and most enjoyable. “This property is well located and is clean and of a good size. The staff were very friendly. We were three adults and they provided an additional bed that wasn’t set up properly and collapsed- luckily no one was hurt and we could put it up properly. We also paid additionally for a spa which stopped working and never heated properly despite having the staff look at it three times. The room comes with supplies for the first day with nothing extra for the additional adult. The towels don’t dry so……

“The room was big enough for two people and they gave us two single beds as requested. the location of the hotel couldn't have been more convenient and the breakfast was real nice and they had quite a lot of choices. One thing that I like the most was the staffs, a women there helped us with everything we needed to travel around and extended the room one more night for us. The down sides were the communication within the staffs I guess as the young lady said if we wanted to extend one more night,……

“Aucune isolation phonique, les portes de la chambre laisse passer tout le bruit dans les couloirs et claquent. Nous avons du les caler avec du papier carton. Les repas ne sont pas tous frais beaucoup de produits congelés et mal cuits. On nous a fait payer un supplément pour le « club», ce qui resume a un animateur qui fait le soir du karaoke et avoir accès au transat sur la plage. Cette dernière est decrite comme privée, la seule partie privée est devant l’hôtel le reste est en accès libre. Même……

“Such an amazing experience to stay at this B&B, the owner was so helpful and nice to gave our detail guide to parking garage, recommended a wonderful Michelin restaurant for dinner, and of course the breakfast was far better than expected, there were so many food choices. ”

“We had a lovely two night stay here. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. We planned to take a train to Ragusa and they took us to the train. Unfortunately the train wasn’t running(beware trains in Silicy!). Salvo came back and got us and then they got us a car service with fifteen minutes. Incredible! Yeah to Salvo and the entire staff.”

“We liked the hotel and choose it for it's size of the rooms which are hard t find in the area. Proximity from here to Modica/Ragusa was also great and why we picked it. Breakfast was nice since there arent many options very close but there was a charge. Staff was very friendly and helpful but some didnt speak English very well so patience is key or better to know some Italian! We booked their largest room which was a nice size but the bathroom was very small even by Italian standards. Furniture……

Sie waren immer ansprechbar, haben sofort auf Wünsche / Fragen reagiert und uns mit tollen Restauranttips versorgt. Francesco hat uns sogar Sonntagmorgen 6.00 Uhr noch verabschiedet! Das Haus war für uns absolut ausreichend. Italienische zweckmäßige Einrichtung. Herausragend war der Pool mit Sprungbrett - der immer……

“Wonderful experience at this hotel which is in a renovated palazzo. The front desk staff were wonderful and friendly, especially Marisa who recommended the zucchini pizza at the restaurant around the block. The room was fine, very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was laid out the grand ballroom and there were many options to choose from in the buffet. We felt very well cared for from start to finish. Our only regret was that we were just staying one night. We wish we could have stayed……
