“Help from Andrea with nearby parking and transport with luggage to/from Ortigia was excellent. Also breakfast staff member was super helpful. The property itself is tired and in need of upgrades. There is a totally inadequate space for breakfast seating, with no dedicated tables or chairs and no easy access back into reception area if guests are seated at basic outdoor sofas. ”

“Great property in the heart of town! Would recommend to family and friends. We did have trouble getting in and couldn't contact the owners but after some time managed to get in (the issue was an internet issue making it difficult for us to log on to get the code for keys). It was clean and tidy. ”

“Nous avions reservé l’appartement 16 de la rue Salomone. C’etait horrible, beaucoup d’humidité (murs et sols), moisissures sur les murs, les portes ne fermaient pas tellement qu’elles avaient gonflé à cause de l’humidité. Le chauffe eau n’avait pas ete allumé avant notre arrivée et le sol etait super sale. Nous avons contacté le service client et ils nous ont relogé dans un autre appartement qui était vraiment mieux. Nous avons donc passé une seule nuit dans l’appartement 16 que je déconseille……

“This property is GORGEOUS and in the right are: not too in the thick of tourism, but not completely out of it. My gripe is with Wonderful Italy in general and the impossibly slow or broken internet at the property. Upon arriving to Ortegia two hours prior to check-in, the team was TERRIBLE at communicating. Before arriving they couldn’t let us know if we could check-in early, but once we arrived, they provided the worst directions to their office to store our luggage. We literally had to……

“L'appartement est très bien situé, c'est son grand point fort. On trouve à proximité, de nombreux bars, restaurants, commerces typiques et tout est faisable à pieds. Un grand parking public est à 3 min. Il est spacieux et la cuisine est bien équipée, il dispose en outre d'une machine à laver, ce qui a été très pratique. En revanche, le canapé lit n'était pas du tout confortable, ça a été pénible d'y dormir 3 jours. Le check-in se fait à distance et ce n'est pas très pratique.”

“Die Treppe ist hoch (was ältere Menschen oder Menschen mit Mobilitätsproblemen beachten sollten). Im Hochsommer nicht zu empfehlen, da das Dachfenster keine Jalousie hat, um die Sonneneinstrahlung zu verhindern. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung für den Preis hervorragend.”
