“**Disappointing anniversary stay**
We booked Lanelay Hall over three months in advance for a special anniversary and were looking forward to the luxury boutique experience advertised. We had hoped that booking so far ahead would allow us to be allocated one of the more desirable rooms.
Unfortunately, we were allocated Clock Tower 1, an accessible Deluxe Room. Although the hotel has confirmed this was the Deluxe category we booked, the room itself was very disappointing. It felt clinical rather……
“Nice friendly reception staff, lovely clean room with a safe, iron and iron board, refreshments available. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna very well kept, lovely bar service nice and friendly and food was lovely. Comfy bed and soft pillows. We had a lovely full English breakfast in the morning where you could help yourself to whatever you wanted, we would definitely stay here again, nice and relaxing overnight stay.”
