This resort is beautiful. The grounds are magnificent and the beach is paradise. Clear water and white sand. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room we had was a superior room which is standard. It was a little small but we didn’t care. The concierge was very helpful in securing a car for us at hotel. U do need a car anywhere u stay in Sardinia. It is a few minute walk to beach but didn’t mind as we got in our steps in and once u see the beach it doesn’t matter. We visited other 5 star resorts in the area but honestly they were more expensive and the beaches weren’t nearly as nice. It is a very family friendly resort which for us wasn’t the best but it seems Sardinia is very family friendly. My husband was hesitant to book here because he read some negative reviews and I’m so glad I didn’t listen. We loved it and would come back again and again

Just before checking in, I happened to see some not so good reviews on Google Maps. At the time, I thought, "Huh?", but it was a complete misgiving. The facility was clean, the rooms were spacious, and the food and service were all satisfactory. They also found a taxi for me to the airport right away. It does feel a little old, but that's part of the charm. I would like to stay here again when I come to Olbia✌️

Crystal clear sea at Lazzaretto beach near Alghero, perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Alghero is a gem of a town in Sardinia, surrounded by beautiful nature: sandy beaches, coves and pine forests.. We went there at the end of September and the weather was warm enough to swim, without the crowds. The sun was not scorching, so it was doable to rent bikes and cycle along the hilly but tranquil roads overlooking the sea. The views were gorgeous, especially going North of Alghero up to Capo Caccia
