“This bed and breakfast excelled beyond all expectations! The property is exceptionally beautiful with many historic features scarcely seen except in museums of great old houses. Our host couldn't have been more wonderful and he helped us out after a long ride on the Erie Canal Trail. The amenities were excellent. I would go to Fort Plain just to stay there again. Thank you!”

“My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places.”
