“To be honest, the price was so low that I didn't expect much, but my actual stay was fantastic. The room was fully equipped—it had absolutely everything. You might think that’s a given, but surprisingly, many places lack the essentials. Here, however, there was ample storage space for clothes, a microwave, a desk, a TV, a toothbrushing cup—literally everything—which was a huge help. Plus, the location right by the lake offered a magnificent view.”

“This bed and breakfast is one of the cleanest, most charming and comfortable places my husband and I have ever stayed in! The host Mike is amazing! He called us the morning of to take our breakfast order and to walk is through the check-in process (which is very easy) and even gave us recommendations for dinner. Definitely try PK’s pub if you like a good home cooked meal. We would hands down recommend this to everyone and would love to stay here again!”

“It had a nice bathroom and bedroom. The coffee machine did not work in the room because the coffee pod was too small to slide into the sides of slots which was too wide so the pod just dropped down. No washcloths in the bathroom. I could not understand how the tv remote worked and the channels seemed to be different from the remote control. The closed captioned was too small and too light to see and read from the bed, so I couldn’t read it well. Breakfasts were cheap and not good. Staff……

“Hotel reminded us of traveling in Europe. Old but interesting building. Rooms were small but clean. We could hear people in the hallway but guests were quiet and we slept well. We ate in the restaurant on site which had decent food. Property overlooks a lake and we spent some time outside during sunset. Sabina was very friendly and informative. We would stay here again.”

“It was a very nice place until 5 am when someone was smoking Pot outside our room and it came into the heating/AC vent and stunk up our room.”

“Nice clean and comfortable room. The Beekman toiletries were a nice touch. The only issue is the electrical outlet in the bathroom was too far away from the mirror over the sink. This was the only mirror in the room so I couldn’t use hair dryer or curling iron. The room use another mirror somewhere near an electrical outlet. As a side note, the electrical outlet in the bathroom didn’t work at all anyway.”

“Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!”

“When you first pull up the area is a little desolate and spooky, but once I got inside it was so quaint and cozy. There was no staff on site but they answered the phone immediately and there was zero hassle getting to the room. This place is like a hostel, nice common area and clean rooms”
