“Paul and his staff couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! Lovely old stately home converted to BnB, with delightful breakfast next day. The suites are large and very comfortable and just dripping with classic furnishings appropriate to a late 19th century stately home.”

“Rooms are not cleaned daily. We stayed two nights and expected the room to be cleaned the morning after the first night. I inquired and was told they only clean rooms every other day.”

“The Grand Colonial is a great choice for a temporary home in the Herkimer area. So rich in American Revolutionary history, the old mansion is an historic relic that is kept up-to-date by its current owners. Mike was our host, and he couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We give it our highest recommendation.”

“The Inn provides comfortable rooms and both indoor and outdoor places to relax. Relatively steep stairs are required to access the rooms. Walking distance for numerous Cooperstown attractions, restaurants, and shops.”

“Having been in for the Boilermaker, we found this location to be of good value and within a close proximity to the race. The staff were friendly and accommodating allowing us to come back after the race for a late check out so we could shower. There's a Walmart nearby so it was convenient if we needed anything. Ultimately, we'd be glad to do it all over again next year for the race.”
