“Five stars for this beautiful and cozy cabin which is just as described. Plenty of space for 7 adults with comfy common areas to socialize and 4 nice bedrooms & bathrooms for privacy. Kitchen was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed the beautiful scenery from the hot tub and the fire table on the back porch after a long hiking day. “I wish we could have stayed longer. Our three pups loved all the new smells while they investigated most of the property. There is also a fenced area although, we didn't need to use it. Kelsey is an awesome host and provides all the details needed either in the listing, or via messaging after booking. She was quick to respond when I did reach out a couple of times but later when packing up, I found the binder, we covered accidently on arrival that may have had those answers. Whoops! The house……

“Captain's Cabin is charming, welcoming and generously appointed for maximum comfort. Juliana thought of everything! We had a wonderful, relaxing stay--especially while drinking coffee in the mornings, on the screened back porch. The cabin is located in a rural area, so there are roosters crowing and dogs barking. But, I would go again tomorrow if I could! A couple of good restaurants downtown topped off the pleasant weekend. Can't wait for next time.”

“My buddy and I get our families together every few years. We decided to try out Lake Lure this year. The Lake Lure Oasis in the Woods was the perfect place! We had 11 guests to include 4 adults and 7 kids from 3 to 16 years of age. Chris’ place was plenty spacious for us and very clean. Chris was very responsive. Upon arrival, we realized the microwave wasn’t working and Chris had a replacement brought to the house the same day. If you have a large family or friend group this place would be……

“This cabin was just as advertised and more. Host and friends were wonderful. Constantly surprised every morning. So tucked away and private and we were able to catch a nice buck and doe on our last night. Birds and squirrels just hanging out while having our morning coffee. We will be back soon.”
