“I really enjoyed my stay here! The space was incredibly cozy, very clean, and had everything I needed as a solo traveler. The kitchen was especially well stocked with clean utensils, coffee, and all the basics I needed during my stay. I also really appreciated the Roku TV. It worked great and made it so easy to access all of my favorite series in the evenings. Being able to settle in and watch something familiar at night added even more to the cozy, comfortable feeling of the space. One of my……

“This was a perfect home for us and our two fur babies. The fenced yard was perfect for our puppies. The house is nicely decorated and has everything one may need. Black Mountain is a cute town and super dog friendly. We brought our dog crate, in case we needed to leave without the dogs, but so many places allowed them that we didn’t need it. Owners are very responsive, check in is easy, would stay again!”

“This place is FANTASTIC!! It's quiet, peaceful, and has incredible views of the mountains. Don't let the drive up intimidate you because it is worth it!! The hosts are so nice and have paid attention to all the details that made staying here special, from the automatic nightlight in the bathroom to the games in the living area. I have now convinced myself I need a small cabin tucked high in the woods because I didn't want to leave. Black Mountain and Montreat are small towns with so much charm……

“Shirley is very easy to work with. She is available to give you all the cool information you might need or want about the best places to shop, eat and/or drink. She knows just about everyone in town. She is as charming as her cottage and garden. It was the most relaxing vacation. She gifted me a beautiful bottle of wine my 2nd night there and left me fresh local peaches on day 3. Her and her housekeeper were both attentive but not intrusive. It is my hope that I have the opportunity to travel……

“This cabin was perfect! It’s private and the natural setting around it is idyllic. Be warned: the paved drive up is STEEP!! But we made it up and had room to turn around at the top even in our huge SUV towing a 5x10 trailer. We baked coffee cake muffins, made breakfasts and dinners here, hung out and watched FIFA World Cup games, talked, laughed, and slept well in our cozy comfy beds. We were within easy access of the town and really enjoyed the antique and craft stores. Fresh Woodfired Pizza……
