“This is a great location! Easy to get to downtown Galena in a few minutes. Country place without being too secluded. Very quiet neighbors. Residents were very cheerful and welcoming. Nice to have beautiful views and only a short drive to downtown Galena or Dubuque where there is more to do if you have kids staying or for a movie or dinner. Club where the pool is located is a very nice place. I would stay and this location again!”

“The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. I definitely recommend this property for anyone who loves being close to the water. It is nice to be just over the bridge from Dubuque and the location is……

“The property was as described - very clean, kitchen well stocked, comfortable beds. It should be noted that it does have stairs to enter/exit most rooms, including the kitchen and bedrooms. Just a heads up for families with small children and people with limited mobility.”
