“This was a clean and neat hotel, no frills but exactly what we needed. Hot coffee in the morning, helpful staff, comfortable room!”

“For us, this property is a case of we got what we paid for. We were in Stoughton for a very quick overnight - we literally didn't check in until after midnight. We needed an inexpensive, clean place to sleep in a decent neighborhood. That's what we got. We only had a couple of very minor complaints. First, there are no drinking glasses, even the wrapped plastic ones in the room. Luckily, I had a bottle of water with me for brushing my teeth. And we both found the bed pretty comfortable, but we……

“People smoke outside at the main entrance to the building, so whenever you go in or out you have to go through a cloud of smoke. The lady working the night we arrived was a crab. The guy working the day we left was fantastic. The elevator was out of order. The carpeted stairs everyone has to use have not been vacuumed in years and are disgusting. The room was ok except for some baseboard peeling off in the bathroom that could easily be fixed.”

“The chemicals used to clean the sheets on the bed must’ve been really strong. They smelled like chemicals and were very itchy to sleep in. The bathroom tub and shower were gross, so I didn’t want to take a shower. The bathroom had some type of black sludgy type mold in areas of it.”

“Good location for staying and working in Madison. Nearby restaurants were convenient. Easy access to interstate to jet around Wisconsin. Clean room and hotel. Would stay here again.”

“This is a great place to stay! Walkable to restaurants and shopping, plus it’s right on a nature trail for biking or walking. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a little outdated, but still good!”

“Our five night stay was pleasant, but our choice of facility was not appropriate for senior travelers. The Tru by Hilton chain is very miminalistic and much more appropriate for a younger audience. Our handicap accessible room was very spacious but also sparsely furnished in Early IKEA furnishings. There was only a king size bed and one desk chair on rollers in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well equipped with adaptations for those with handicapping……
