The hotel was overpriced for the three night stay. My rooms door would not lock properly and was reported to the front desk on the first day. It was never repaired and caused a safety concern. The provided free breakfast had limited choices and what was offered was not fresh. The one coffee/cappuccino machine they had, broke the first day of our stay, and was still not working when we checked out. My wife and the couple staying with us refused to eat the eggs and sausage. We all felt breakfast was disappointing. We paid for a river front room, however, the window was so dirty it was difficult to see through, especially when the sun was coming up or going down because of the glare. We felt the staff was friendly; just assumed they were not being provided the resources to maintain the hotel making our stay not so great!

This place is awesome! Tons of old signs, cars, and shtuff ! They also have a Lunch Box Museum that is way cool. So... how did I find this place ? I took a #TroverDetour on Route 280, a spur of U.S. Highway 80. It runs for 392 miles from Blichton, Georgia at U.S. Highway 80 to Birmingham, Alabama. Yer in the Deep South now Son ! Located: 3226 Hamilton Rd Columbus, GA 31904 Pay attention as it is easy to miss... look for the old hearse and drive into the back of the parking lot. #TroverDetour
