A jewel in the heart of Fredericksburg Texas and the Texas Wine Country. The restaurant was wonderful, fresh ingredients and hearty dishes. The spa was first class and the pool designed (like a Texas pond) sunken 20 feet below the ground floor with walls of Texas limestone, unique and private. Try the 1800s built old pharmacy for fresh pasties a great coffee, local musicians adding to the vibe. Truth. We never left, no need. Cheers to the old German compound! 5 stars
