“Very unique and historic property! We really enjoyed walking around inside and getting a glimpse of the past! Amazing fireplace in the lobby!”

“The beds were so comfy. I was surprised to have quality comforters. Also, impressed with the quality of the towels. Unfortunately the pool was closed during our stay. The ac/heater also needed to be reset after we arrived and was making a strange noise while running. Overall, our stay was comfortable and we slept quite well. ”

“La Quinta have proven over and over as being clean, roomy and affordable. Only issue with this location is the very busy railway across the street. No whistle blowing, but noisy just the same. Try and get your room on the backside. ”

“The property was great. I’d guess the best in the area. Would definitely stay here again. NM seems to be an unkept state along I40. The restaurant was very good, clean and super friendly wait staff. ”

“Rooms are tiny! TV is poorly placed. No regular coffee, just decaf, in the room. Staff, who were very friendly, said they had been out for a week. Walls are thin. Railroad on one side, highway on the other so noise all night. The friendly staff makes up for a lot of shortcomings of the property so I would stay there again. Skip Dennys and go into town to Jerry’s Cafe. New Mexican food to die for!”

“The staff at check in was great. The libby is filled with veterans tributes. It is beautifully done. A lot of history about World War II Navajo code talkers. It is an amazing tribute.”

“Great hotel for travelers on I-40. The property is newer, clean, with a hot tub and a pool! Really nice continental breakfast , with a staff member who makes made-to-order omelets. My only complaint is that they do not have an elevator to their second floor rooms. If I had an issue with climbing stairs, they would not have had a room for me. Be aware of that when making a reservation, and request a first floor room if you are unable to climb stairs! ”

“I had a terrible experience in this hotel. The tenant upstairs were running in the room all night and I call the front desk to make them stop but nothing happen. Then I call the front desk again, but they start to say things like “if you want them to be quiet you can say to them yourself or you can leave.” When I check out the man says “ if you think they are aloud you can call the police” and said I had no common sense. It was a little child or a dog in that room which is okay by itself , but……
