We were just passing through and looking for a hotel on our way to the Grand Canyon, and happened to stumble upon this amazing piece of Americana. If you're even remotely nostalgic, or interested in route 66 or the history of 50s Westward expansion, it was 10 out of 10\. However; the room (227),sits above the grill exhaust and made our room smell like fried food in the evening. We woke up to the smell of grilled onions in the morning.. don’t open the window! The beds could use an update, the rooms are classic and have a nice feel, but very small.
