The room smelled very bad upon arrival. It was the next day I discovered why. The old air conditioning unit had lichen growing in it. Visible fungus growing all over. Lichen is the fungus looking stuff you see growing on rocks and trees near damp areas… supposed to be outside. We left the AC off the remainder of our stay and the smell improved dramatically. BUT it was a bit warm … so I don’t know if it was a win. Other than that and the loud train nearby honking at all hours of the night, it was a normal hotel stay.

Love the room with the super comfortable beds, and the interior design of the bathroom, shower and bath. The view was great as well, with a view of the space needle.
