“While in the room, it was lovely and quiet, clean and had what everything we needed. We thought the design of the room was a little mis match. The staff were friendly, and welcoming. We had an evening meal, which was absolutely superb! Breakfast didn’t have what I prefer (croissants) however it was very nice. They provide cereal, juice, tea, coffee, beans, tomato, sausage, bacon, fried egg and toast. It’s a little shame they didn’t have scrambled or boiled eggs. Overall, we had a good stay.”

“Room 1 is extremely small, but was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. There were too few staff. Service at dinner and the bar was very slow. Dinner wasn't as hot as it should have been. There was too much food on a small plate, I had to hunt under the chicken for my vegetables! Overall, it's quite expensive for food that although was delicious it wasn't hot and not served in a timely manner.”

“Nice place above a nice bar. Had some food and it was fine and a few drinks. Nice atmosphere and well situated in the town. Room was fine, settee was a bit big for the room but you can see what they are trying to do. Young woman who showed us round was nice and so too the young woman at breakfast.”

“The exterior of the hotel is lovely but once inside it’s very tired. The carpets are worn and stained. No air con or phone in the room. The tea/coffee was not refilled during the service. There is no lift in the section of hotel I was staying. The windows didn’t open much and the was no fan available. It was convenient for where I wanted to be. The staff I dealt with are very pleasant and there’s a large car park.”

“A good looking Hotel from the outside, the food in the restaurant smelled great as you climb the steps to the door. (There is a disabled lift around the side somewhere) Self check in with help available, parking fee arranged at this point, I had missed this on the website, it was £7.50 a night, not over the top but a surprise for me. Room is a bit dated, only two sockets on the desk and no USB sockets anywhere. Comfy bed, plenty of space in the room and good shower pressure! Now the……

“This was my third time staying at this hotel, and it was just as excellent as before. This time, I even met two front desk asian staff members who can spoke Cantonese, they were very polite and friendly. I will definitely stay here again next time. Thank you.”
