Weekend getaways in Skipton

The Craven Arms is the most welcoming, amazing pub we've been lucky to visit in the UK. The stories about the owners and the pub are amazing. The regulars were super welcoming and happy to share a few pints and swap stories. The food is excellent and services is great! And then there are the shepherd huts, so cozy, I only wished I stayed longer. I'll certainly be back!

Zoe and Kieth are the consummate hosts. They have created a wonderful environment in a quiet and restful setting. The property is well located to all the sites that make The Dales so alluring. Overall, just an outstanding experience!

Tranquil place to unwind and just relax. Staff was amazing and rooms very clean and cosy. Breakfast was top notch.

Margaret and Paula have created a beautiful, welcoming and warm home away from home. I felt so special. When I arrived and there was a freshly baked butterfly cake in my room and the second day a slice of fresh chocolate cake. The views and the property are stunning. Perfect location for walking and relaxing. Found some beautiful waterfalls. Loved the old doors that led into our rooms. The full English breakfast was great.

Lovely stay in an even lovelier setting. Conveniently located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. We arrived not knowing that this little village was used as the setting of the current “All Creatures Great and Small” television series but we can see why the producers selected the location. As for the B&B, the room had the most comfortable bed we had ever experienced, a modern bathroom, and two of the friendliest hosts you will ever meet. My wife always had their full Yorkshire...

We loved the historic feel to the property, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. As long as you understand this property is hundreds of years old, you will be in for a unique stay. Very quiet location, we loved it.

Attended a wedding here and stayed over night for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience. Highly recommend! Breakfast was delicious and walking the grounds was peaceful and beautiful.

This was such a nice property and room! I felt so fancy here. The breakfast was great value and I loved having plates/microwave/fridge/utensils in the room too, made it easy to keep leftovers. Very close to the train, too. Would definitely stay again.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. Clean, cozy and thw bed is so comfortable. Definitely will be back here on my next trip to Harrogate.
