Lovely hotel. Great location, delicious breakfast, and friendly staff. My son loved the indoor pool.
Our complimentary upgraded one-bedroom suite was amazing! The view was stunning.
The front desk staff at checkout who helped us had the most cheerful, professional, courteous, and friendly vibe! He should be a role model for current and future employee training.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Grand Hotel and want to thank everyone for making it such a wonderful experience.

Beautiful property, but a few things to know before you book
The Sofitel Carrasco is a stunning hotel with elegant decor and a great location. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds feel like sleeping on a cloud — truly exceptional. The location is wonderful and easy to get around from during the day.
However, there are a few things worth mentioning for fellow travelers. For a hotel at this price point, it is disappointing that breakfast is not included — you would expect that to come standard at these rates. The lobby staff, while the property is beautiful, came across as quite dry and unhelpful. When I needed assistance with a passport situation and didn't have it physically on me, instead of finding a smooth solution I was asked to send the document via WhatsApp, which felt unprofessional for a 5-star property.
One more tip for travelers — at night, be cautious with your surroundings regardless of the hotel's upscale setting, as the area warrants some awareness.
Overall a beautiful stay with a fantastic bed, but service and pricing transparency could be improved.
