Portugal Pet-friendly Vacations

The location is great. The view is gorgeous. The apartment was clean, but was very old and outdated. Smelled old as well. The walls were paper thin. We could hear neighbors playing music and talking loud and laughing until 2am. It sounded like they were in our apartment.

Locations was the best thing about this hotel. In between the busy areas but also the quieter Avenida d liberdade. Staff are super friendly and offered many suggestions everyday. Rooftop bar is also GREAT, lots of amazing cocktails

Very friendly staff, great to have parking

I did not have the breakfast. There are many cafes around the area. The room is big and comes equipped with a Nespresso, a fridge (w/ freezer), a microwave, an induction stove and a set of utensils and plates. Weirdly it doesn’t come with coffee cups. Luckily we brought our Yeti cups. As for accuracy, it says there are laundry facilities. They will do your laundry for a fee, of course but no washing machine or dryer. However, a few blocks away across the Avenida de Libertad, there is a laundromat that costs between 4.50 - 7.50 Euro (depending on volume) and 2 Euro for drying. If you plan on staying longer than a few days, the laundromat will come handy. They will clean your room daily. Just make sure you put up your sign to have your room service. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. They will greet you “Bom dia” everyday. They were the ones who directed me to that laundromat and highly recommended it. I highly recommend this hotel despite the laundry arrangements. The location is between the Marques do Pombal and the Avenida metro. Marques do Pombal is nearer. It is a nice walk to Baixa. So as not to tire yourself too much Walk to Baixa then take the Metro to Maques do Pombal and walk down back to the hotel. They have electrical adaptors if you are not European available in Altis Grand (hotel desire the suites) and umbrellas if it rains.

The apartment was spacious and very clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable; the barhroom was big and modern. The greatest asset of this hotel is the staff. They are so professional and so helpful from the young lady who helped to unload our suitcases to the various front desk staff who helped us out one way or another. We will definitely stay here again and we highly recommend this hotel.
