Mylos is such a special place -- we stayed for 4 nights but never wanted to leave. The staff were all so lovely and helpful, with easy communication via WhatsApp before, during and after our stay. Parking onsite, including an easy-to-use charging point for our electric car. The design of the hotel is so thoughtful, and the set A/C in our room was perfect at all times -- refreshing, but never too cold or too hot (this is surprisingly difficult to achieve!) Comfortable bed, great shower, beautiful terrace, and plenty of space to relax. We were working remotely during part of our stay, and the wifi was fast and stable everywhere, including by the pool :-) (Power outlets tucked away next to the pool lounges: another genius/subtle touch.) Pool temperature: warmed but refreshing. Genius idea to have Nespresso machines located throughout the grounds (+ a jar of canistrelli) for a quick pick-me-up any time. Perfect location: perched above the charming town of Cargèse with gorgeous views, just a few steps down to local cafés, restaurants, épiceries, the local boulangerie, the local supermarket), a short drive to the most idyllic beaches (we loved Menasina in particular). Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were lovely -- dinner in particular was so delicious and relaxed, with a great local wine selection. And after departure, when I saw I’d left my AirPods behind, Justine at reception was kind enough to arrange to have them quickly mailed back to me. All the love for Mylos!

Wow, what a beauty!!! Did not know anything about Corsica, Looked for a hotel in Bonifacio. Not knowing anything, was presented with this one through Expedia and booked it thinking it was very close to Bonifacio. It is not, it is in walking vincinity of Sartène. Bonifacio is a little more than an hour away. But regardless, wow, what a beauty! You walk to Sartène from the hotel. A very old village in the mountains. It is lively, beautiful street festival summer Thurday nights, AMAZING food, even the street pizza is remarquable! The breakfasts and pool of the hotel are wonderful and cleanliness is great. Very roomy room as well compare to other european rooms. Visiting Corsica, make a stop in Sartène and stay there. Beaches are accessible within 30 minutes, and day trip to Bonifacio is easy. MUST have a car.
