Strandapartment in Traumlage
Wir haben mit unseren 2 Kindern (3- und 6 Jahre) Anfang Juli 10 Tage in Miguels tollem Apartment verbracht. Architektonisch ist es durch Glasfassaden mit tollem Blick auf den wunderschönen Strand von Odeceixe wirklich gelungen und auch sonst sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Außer Odeceixe gibt es im Umkreis von 30 Autominuten zumindest 10 weitere Traumstrände, die trotz Hochsaison überhaupt nicht überlaufen sind. Restaurants gibt es direkt an manchen dieser Strände oder auch im durchaus netten, etwa 5 Minuten entfernten Ort Odeceixe. Miguel ist ein sehr sympathischer, unkomplizierter Gastgeber, der bei Bedarf immer erreichbar war und uns einige gute Tipps gegeben hat. Wir haben uns in seinem wunderschönen Strandapartment jedenfalls sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicher wieder kommen.

Geschmackvolle Wohnung in Traumlage
Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist absolut traumhaft und der Ausblick aus den Zimmern toll. Von der Terrasse sieht man auf das Flussbett, was auch ok ist. In der Umgebung ist nichts weiter los, das muss man mögen, aber wir haben die Ruhe genossen. Für uns die perfekte Unterkunft mit 3 Kindern.

...und jede Frage wurde sofort beantwortet. Miguel macht einfach alles, damit seine Gäste sich wohl fühlen. Geschmackvolles Haus in super Lage. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Tudo óptimo, vistas incríveis do mar e do rio.
Passámos uma semana excelente, sempre bem junto à praia. A proximidade e as vistas para a praia e o rio, a varanda, o terraço tranquilo e principalmente as grandes janelas são os pontos fortes desta casa. A adaptação do andar de cima proporciona um espaço amplo onde se situa a cama de casal, e cadeiras confortáveis com vistas excelentes e acesso ao terraço. O quarto mais pequeno, com beliche é adequado para os jovens, e abre também para esse espaço comum, que é necessário atravessar para descer para o andar de baixo. A sala tem um excelente sofá. A internet é boa. A cozinha está bem equipada. Uma máquina de lavar loiça seria um excelente upgrade para familias que prefiram fazer as refeições mais por casa. O Sr. Miguel foi sempre prestável e simpático. O bar da praia, mesmo em baixo, é bom para refeições leves, principalmente saladas. Em suma, ficámos com vontade de voltar.

Traumurlaub in Odeceixe
Wir waren schon vor 4 Jahren im Beach House und damals wie heute hat es uns sehr gut gefallen. Neu für uns war, dass es nun WLAN gibt (was unsere Kinder sehr gefreut hat ;-)) und dass es oben ein vollständig abgetrenntes Kinderzimmer gibt. Herzlichen Dank an Miguel für die Flexibilität (wir sind erst sehr spät angekommen, war für ihn kein Problem) und die Gastrfreundschaft. Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub.

A delightful location, well appointed accommodation and an excellent host.
We stayed for 12 nights until 14 March 2019. Very good weather and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and walking along the adjacent cliffs (with nesting storks) and through the nearby countryside. This is a delightful rural part of Portugal and the locals seem very friendly. A superb outlook from the house which was well appointed and we made good use of the wood burning stove which we needed at night.The cooking facilities were fine, the hot water supply good and the wifi very reasonable (at least at this time of year). Miguel was very attentive (without being intrusive) and provided an excellent walking map, plenty of firewood and advice when needed. We have no hesitation in recommending this as a quiet, scenic get away with almost all the facilities you would need. Perhaps a cafetiere, softer towels, more coat hangers and an iron would be worthwhile investments! Peter and Claire Coates, Northumberland, UK

Traumhafte Lage, nettes Quartier
Auf zwei Etagen, überwältigende Aussicht, Gasherd etwas schwachbrüstig, anfangs zuwenig Handtücher wurden aber prompt ergänzt, etwas mehr an Stauraum und Geschirr wäre sicher hilfreich, alles in allem aber zu empfehlen

schöne, gut eingerichtete Wohnung
Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und praktisch eingerichtet. Die beiden Terrassen haben wir viel genutzt und genossen. Unser Miguel unser Vermieter war sehr hilfsbereit und man merkt, dass er sich sehr um die Wohnung kümmert. Wir würden sie jederzeit weiter empfehlen.

Strand und Wandern
Wir waren jetzt das dritte Mal in diesem Haus und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Miguel hat an der Möblierung einige Verbesserungen vorgenommen, die uns gefallen haben. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet . Die Aussicht auf den Atlantik und den Fluss sind unübertroffen. Man kann im Ort sehr gut essen. Wanderungen sind direkt vom Haus aus möglich.

Ein traumhafter Ort!
Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung ist gemütlich und warm eingerichtet. Miguel stand stets mit Rat und Tat zur persönlich oder telefonisch zur Verfügung. Der Ort ist im Mai ruhig und lädt ein zum Erholen, Wandern und ist ein toller Platz als Ausgangsort für Erkundungen der Gegend. Der Strand ist fantastisch!

Fantastic flat in a stunning location
This flat was absolutely lovely and we had a fabulous time in Odeceixe. Miguel was really helpful and gave us some fantastic advice about what to do while we were there. We visited in spring when it was still a little cold in the evenings and at night but the woodburner was wonderful at combatting this. I can't emphasise enough how amazing the beach is at Odeceixe. We want to come back! 100% recommend

Phantastic place!
We really enjoyed the stay at Miguel's nice place! Thank you for all the information about restaurants, nice places, great beaches, etc. Thank you for the good care you take of your appartement (the nice new table for example), the view is superbe and it's really quiet expect the sound of the waves and the seagull. The appartement does look like on the pictures and we have found everything we needed for our stay. It's very thoughtful to have a collection of children's toys as well as some wood for the oven. Odeceixe Praia is like a little piece of paradise and the region offers a lot. We would definetely love to come back and the next time we will try the surfing as well!

Einmalige Lage!
Das Beachhouse liegt in wirklich toller Lage am Strand von Odeceixe. Der Vermieter Miguel ist supernett und hilfsbereit. Die ersten Nächte waren recht kalt; da das Haus über keine Heizung verfügt und auch nicht sonderlich isoliert ist, war es morgens recht kühl innen. Miguel hat aber direkt einen Berg Holz gebracht, der gußeiserne Ofen zieht gut und wärmt die Wohnung schnell. Außerdem steht ein Gasofen zur Verfügung, dieser musste aber erst aus dem 2. Stock in den Wohnraum geschleppt werden. In der Wohnung selbst ist im Wesentlichen alles Nötige vorhanden, einziger echter Makel war, dass sich die Schiebetüren nur sehr schwer öffnen und wieder schließen ließen. Im Kiosk oben auf den Klippen gibt's leckeres Essen und Franziskaner vom Fass ;) Alles in Allem ein idealer Ort zum Entspannen, Strand- und Meergenießen!!!

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit im Beach House
Das Haus ist sehr schön.Die Möblierung des Wohnzimmers könnte verbessert werden. Die Lage ist optimal.. Man ist sofort am Strand und an den Wanderwegen. Es gibt viele Möglichkeiten in der Nähe Essen zu gehen Ein schöner Platz für einen Strand- und Wanderurlaub.

Quiet, Rustic, Brilliant!
This is our first time to this part of Portugal, and we hope it won't be our last. The beach is absolutely stunning, as well as the fabulous views from the apartment - lounge and bedroom windows. Our host was amazing, adding complimentary touches to our anniversary trip to make us feel extra welcome and make our time there that much more enjoyable. If you are looking to get away from the summer madness in the Algarve, head here for some tranquillity and R&R! It's an easy 25 minute drive from Sagres/Villa de Bispo/Burgau. Pop in at the Gulli Bistro on the way, for a delicious meal. Loved it!

Casa de Praia
Uma óptima experiência na Casa de Praia do Miguel, na Praia de Odeceixe. A memória do pequeno almoço com vista para a praia deserta, analisando pela corrente do rio se a maré está a subir ou descer, vai persistir! Além destes detalhes, a casa é bastante funcional e bem equipada, estando a 5 min da areia e do rio.

Architektonisch reizvolles Haus in exzellenter Lage
Die Lage in dem kleinen ehemaligen Fischerort ist sehr ruhig, nachts hört man nur das Wellenrauschen und die Nachtigall. Die Einrichtung ist individuell, es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Zwei Balkone lassen die Wahl zwischen Sonne und Schatten, der Architekt muss sich intensiv mit dem Sonnenstand beschäftigt haben! In der Küche kann man auch sehr gut selbst kochen, wenn man mal nicht im örtlichen Restaurant essen möchte. Traumhaft ist der Sundower am Kiosk mit Gin-Sul aus Hamburg-Altona; hier wird in einem Gemeinschaftsprojekt der Wacholder aus der Umgebung verwendet! Einen Fischstand gibt es im Ort in der Markthalle von Odeceixe! Für Tageswanderungen bietet sich der Einstieg in den Wanderweg Rota Vicentina nach Norden oder Süden an!

schönes Ferienhaus in Odeceixe do Mar
Wir verbrachten eine schöne Woche in Odeceixe. Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Strand mit Blick auf die Flussmündung. Alles war sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Der Empfang und die Kommunikation mit Miguel war sehr angenehm und unkompliziert (vielen Dank für den Wein zum Empfang). Die Lage des Hauses ist gut geeignet für Wanderungen auf der Rota Vicentina; ein Mietauto sollte man allerdings zur Verfügung haben. Die Wege entlang der Steilküste sind wunderschön und wir konnten sogar einige Störche in ihren Nestern beim Brüten beobachten.
