Great location. Except for the fact there is a massive building project on the adjoining wall. It would have been nice to know that before booking. As at 0800 the Roto Hammer’s start a massive concert is n jackhammering noises. And this project will be ongoing for some time. If this would have been known before hand? I wouldn’t have booked. As I spent a lifetime in construction and wanted to leave the noise behind me. In affection, the A/c is more of a suggestion as it wouldn’t cool the room off as it should. I also ended up having to empty the water collection for the a/c 3 times. If not? There would have been gallons of water spilled on the floor. This was not disclosed about having to preform preventative maintenance. Check in? Was after 1500, not by much, but then they are strict about Che k out time they should be as strict about check in time. For the price? The value just wasn’t there.

From checking in to entering our room, it was effortless and without any issues. The staff explained the process with breakfast and parking (We managed to find a spot on the street just behind the hotel but we were lucky. The hotel offers their own parking for €16 a night) The room was spotlessly clean, smelt fresh and had plenty of space with a mini bar/fridge and plenty of space for our clothes and cases 20SQM. The bathroom was finished in pink/brown marble and was huge with a walk in shower, about 6 metres long. All towels presented beautifully and complimentary soaps provided. We stayed 2 nights and the brilliant staff made up our room and changed our towels for the next day. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as you could catch a bus in to Vigo 5A,10,11, All about a 18 mins ride time. We managed to find local places to eat our evening meals and lots of coffee bars close by La Casa De Tita was good for us. We had a good trip and thought that the hotel was perfect in every way.

We had a lovely stay at Lenscape Coterie! The front desk team was amazing—welcoming, helpful, and always friendly. The hotel was clean, and the warmth of everyone we encountered made us feel comfortable and well cared for. The one area that could use improvement is the service for hot breakfast orders. On our first morning, we waited about an hour and ultimately had to leave for a scheduled tour before our meals arrived. We experienced a similar delay the following morning. Although we were seated first in the smaller breakfast room, our order was taken after another table’s, and guests who arrived later received their meals before us. Our food came last, after roughly an hour. Better coordination of breakfast orders would make a big difference, especially for guests with morning plans. Despite this, we really appreciated the wonderful hospitality and cleanliness. The front desk team deserves special recognition for making our stay so welcoming!

Excellent restaurant with choice of tasting menus, super breakfasts, big comfy room and bed, effective but unobtrusive air con, friendly and helpful staff - a great place to stay when in Aveiro!
