The downstairs A/C didn't work and repairs were made twice (1 of them didn't even last 12 hours), the utensils, dinnerware, and glassware had dried food on or in them and were put back into their proper places dirty. We had to wash all of them prior to utilizing. The dryer does not work properly and takes all day to dry a small load of laundry. The prior renters left sheets and towels in the washing machine and the floors were nasty. We spent the first day cleaning and mopping floors. The downstairs furniture needs updated and the kitchen table is sticky no matter how much cleaning is done to it. The internet service didn't work upon arrival and repairs had to be made. There is a playstation in the upstairs living area, however, there are no games. If the kids want to play with it, and they have such items, they need to bring games with them prior to arrival. The carpet needs replaced as there are stains on them and very dirty. The housekeeping crew had the gall to put an envelope on the refrigerator requesting tips. The best tip for the cleaning crew would be take a course in Housekeeping 101. It is strongly recommended and highly encouraged. There is a major crack under the inside deck door, which allowed a very, large opossum to get into that room each night. The fact that Hatteras Realty puts Wyndham's name to the property is very disappointing at best. This is not typical of Wyndham's property rentals as is suggested. The property was much cleaner when we left than it was upon our arrival. This does not speak highly of Mary Lee's By-The-Sea, the property manager, the owner, and, especially, Wyndham itself.
