First of all their front desk staff were very professional and helpful, especially Zara. Hotel room: sheets and towels were clean. Shower drain had hairs on it, and the top shelf in the closet and on the inside of the doors had a lot of dust. I believe this room was recently renovated, but was not properly cleaned after the renovation. One other issue was the curtains they did not fully close properly, and the light from the street was kind of strong and disruptive. Breakfast: towards the start of the week, the breakfast quality was good, but I felt as the week progressed the quality and presentation of the breakfast kind of declined, especially on Saturday. It was not very good. I ordered an omelette and it was not even properly cooked the lady who runs the breakfast service during the week she was amazing very attentive. One other issue was their coffee machine , any coffee beverages with milk, for example, mocha latte or cappuccino were served cold or lukewarm. Most of their salt and pepper shakers were not refilled..

Great location, facilities and staff. Will stay again

This hotel was a great discovery and is now one of my favorite hotels I've stayed in. We had a one-bedroom cabin and it was wonderful. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was large with a double sink vanity & the shower had both a rain head & hand-held shower heads. We loved the little kitchenette and the absolute best part were the amazing views & gorgeous sunsets! We ate at the 'Cucina 3064' restaurant on site for breakfast & dinner--the coffee, food & service was top notch! The Cellar Door was delightful for wine tasting & their charcuterie boards were so yummy! On the weekends the grounds are full of couples & families enjoying the atmosphere, animals, music on Sundays & the amazing view! All the staff we talked with genuinely loved working at Marnong Estate and we can see why. I would stay here over & over again & will when in the Melbourne area.

Quick stopover after a short NZ trip before heading home to Geelong. Arrived a hour early, room was ready which was fabulous. Beautiful free upgrade to a queen room with an amazing bathroom and bath. The main room was bigger than my own apartment! Staff all very pleasant and helpful. Parking was easy and convenient. I did have to google how to use the remote to adjust the TV volume - saved a call or visit to reception. 12:00 checkout is the BEST. Expedia price was great. Thank you for a lovely overnight stay.

This is a great location especially if you have an appointment at the hospital. This is our 2nd stay at this property and we highly recommend it. Fantastic to deal with and we can’t thank them enough for their service and kindness
