My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Jailer’s Inn! It’s a very quirky B&B with tons of history and a very interesting back story. The staff was incredible! Quick to offer any help they could provide, answer questions and provide recommendations for the area which is easily walkable besides the distilleries on the outer portion of town. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

The staff was very welcoming and knowledgeable about everything going on in town. Paul, the owner/operator was passionate about the history of the place and always had a smile and story. Great experience!

We booked the jail cell room and the bed was cozy and it was a unique experience. Surprisingly not a lot of dining options, so we walked 0.5 miles to Toogie's Table which was AMAZING. The hosts give a jail tour after breakfast, which was delicious and tasty.

Very interesting place to stay with unique history. Rooms were pretty and comfortable. Breakfast was outdoors on the garden grounds.

Loved the room
This was the nicest B&B I've ever stayed in. The jail tour was unique and entertaining. The room was the most comfortable room and bed that I've ever stayed in. I will certainly be back.

The folks running the In were very nice. Paul's dad joke and stories were entertaining. We stayed there on a Thursday night and the town rolled up its sidewalks pretty early. We stayed in the Victorian Room. Only two issues. While the walls are very thick and quiet, the door to the room could have been knocked door by a hyper 12 year old. Secondly, the bed mad a lot of noise (no not for the reasons many of your are thinking) just getting in or out or moving around.

A very unique experience that I highly recommend if you are coming to the area. The Jailers Inn has loads of charm and history. Rooms were fabulous, spacious and nicely decorated. The staff is the best, breakfast were so yummy, and homemade . Eating was in a courtyard grotto! Watch out for Maximum Security, he’s the guard rabbit and will be your friend for blueberries! Surrounding area plenty of restaurants to walk too and shops to shop!

No water at bar/ mini kitchen sink in family suite. Faucet off?? Had to move a lamp to have lighting in that area of suite. Breakfast french toast raw dough. And served on salad plate instead of slightly larger luncheon plate. (I have same place setting/dish pattern) Not enuf coffee immediately available at breakfast table. Told by host we should have made coffee in our suite. Left an item in our room and called back to ask about it. Waiting for return call 20 hrs later. But beds very comfy. Shower great. Sitting room lovely. Ambience charming and tour interesting and fun.

The Jailer’s Inn is a beautiful, historic bed and breakfast in the heart of historic Bardstown!! The hospitality is bar none, the food was excellent and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! A tour of the old jail was included in the stay and was such an interesting part of history. Highly recommend!!!

What a great spot to visit and stay. The town was great, people were great and had good food too. Its a small town so make sure thats what you are looking for… it was exactly what we were looking for. The staff at the hotel were great! Welcoming, kind, informative & very friendly. We had a very good time at the Jailer's Inn. I'm sure our time there was much, much better than the inmates. Paul was an excellent host. Breakfast was great.
