The restaurant was closed because of staffing issues. That was a major bummer. I remember it being good and planned on having dinner during my stay. There was no general store open either. Make sure you pack everything in. The room was decently clean but outdated. The hot tub was more like a two person bath tub. The jets were so noisy we didn't use them. The toilet paper was half gone and no extra rolls in the room. I asked the house keeping staff for an extra roll and he asked what room I was in and when I was checking out, because they need to keep inventory of everything... The floor was creaking from the people staying in the room above ours. Coffee maker didn't work, glad we brought our own pour over stuff. I'd probably give this a better score if it wasn't so expensive and the restaurant/store weren't closed. At least the setting was beautiful and it's close to Ashland and the surrounding lakes.
