Gary and Jo were terrific,nothing was too much bother.Gary was very friendly and could have a good chat.Breakfast was amazing and jo makes a lovely fresh fruit and yogurt.Will definitely be back.

Excellent Quirky B&B With Fabulous Hosts
This B&B is very quirky. Loved my room (80s rock and roll theme) with lots of music memorabilia and record player. The hosts were fantastic. Very friendly and welcoming and gave us lots recommendations for good pubs/things to do etc. Breakfast was excellent too and included in the price. Love the fact that this place is adult only too.

Lovely little hotel, with very welcoming hosts
The hotel is a lovely place owned and run by a lovely couple Gary and Jo, heavily music themed it's a great place to stay a stones throw from the front and about 10-15 mins walk to central Blackpool, the breakfast was excellent and the onsite bar with record player/hi-fi and games machine was a fantastic place for a couple of drinks.

Gem of a hotel. Great hosts, Gary and Jo couldn’t do enough for us. Fantastic breakfast. Great location within easy walking distance of centre of Blackpool. Will definitely book again.

The Mercury, Will rock you!
Had A Great stay at the Mercury, fantastic hosts Gary and Jo made me feel at home. Good location just off the front but far away for the noise. the breakfast room bar area is a cool set up musically themed with a good selection of vinyl but the most important things comfortable bed, nice room, good shower good Wifi and grand breakast I'm sure I will stay again

Had a great time at The Mercury just off the main drag and easily found - parking wasn’t bad with discounts available three or four minutes walk. Great B&B fantastic hosts Gary and Jo ( with a little help from Henry) made it an absolute pleasure to stay . Lovely comfortable well decorated rooms with excellent brew facilities!! Super shower and all extremely clean. Bed was amazing warm and so so comfortable! Jo makes the most amazing Full English keeps you going all day ! Genuine fab place to stay

Friendly hosts and well maintained rooms
Jo & Gary are really nice and friendly hosts, the gotel was nice and was clean. The breakfast is good but is only 0830 till 0930 which was a little early for us after we had a few the night before.

A Warm welcome at Mercury
Anthony &Debs are super hosts at the Mercury hotel on arrival they had very kindly kept us a parking space in the street and done this on a regular basis for their guests which was much appreciated.Our room was big with a separate dressing room and the whole establishment was clean and tidy Good selection for breakfast and served promptly by Anthony who always asked if we required anything for our room and was very generous with the tea & milk All in all a great place to stay and would highly recommend

We had a fabulous time at the Mercury. A lovely bed and breakfast. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Food was great. Rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities you need. Will definitely return.

Very Enjoyable Stay
We both really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the London Room which was very clean and spacious. Hotel just off the Prom in a good location. Anthony and Debs were very helpful. Breakfast really filling and very tasty. Would recommend and visit again!

The Mercury
The couple that own and run the guest house couldn't do enough for you. They ironed a shirt and jumper for me. The breakfast options are great. Full English breakfast was my choice and I loved it. The rooms are themed, very clean and well presented. I'll be staying here on my next visit to Blackpool.

What a gem of a property, look no further in booking for a guest house in blackpool as this is the best by far, where do i start, large bedrooms, clean rooms, great breakfast, superb hosts in Anthony and Deb who make you so welcome, looking forward to stopping again see you both soon---Steve and Kate

Pleasant hotel by the promenade
The hotel is run by an extremely friendly couple. We were lucky enough to have a small rental car (Vauxhall Corsa), so it could *just* fit alongside their own car. This was a pleasant surprise, since we expected to have to use one of the many car parks in the area. We had another pleasant surprise when we got into our room (the superior suite), with a nice view of the sea. The bed had the best mattress I have slept in for a long while. The location is very good, just a block from the promenade. The occasional loud drunk may walk by in the night, but overall it is very quiet. Only minuses are a bit cramped room layout and temperamental hot water in the shower. It has to run for quite a while to stabilise.

Great weekend break
Good location, within walking distance of South & Central piers. Hosts were a pleasant couple and made sure we had everything we needed. There was plenty for breakfast, hot, cold or both if you could manage it. We would go back there if we return to Blackpool.

A pleasant place to stay for a short break
We enjoyed our stay at the Mercury over the weekend. The room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was tasty, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The location is good, close to but not right on the front, and we managed to find a parking space on the street round the corner (though this might be rather more difficult to do at busier times).

Great value, great owners, great breakfast
Hotel is about 50 yards of the seafront. Our room had a view of the sea without the noise of the promenade. Hotel is rock themed but rather than this being over the top there is lots of interesting memorabilia. The rooms are freshly decorated with new bedclothes. Good breakfast served by friendly and hospitable owners. There is no dedicated parking and when we was there on street parking was limited, but it was first weekend of the illuminations so we parked in Lonsdale car park about a 3 minute walk away. Location is around 1/2 mile from both Pleasure Beach and town so ideal.

Good location, clean comfortable hotel.
This themed hotel is a little gem in a good location only a few metres from the beach. Good for music lovers who like a comfy room, excellent breakfast served up by great hosts. It's quiet (adults only) and for those who like to respect and be respected.

Weekend Away
Me and my wife stayed for one night at the Mercury. It's a very clean and lovely designed hotel (great for any fan of rock and roll!) The owners were really good and helped direct me to a allocated parking space upon arrival. They also recommend other places to park if I needed it. The room was lovely and clean with cool duvet covers! The room has coffee and tea making facilities, as well as a tv and wifi. Breakfast was included with the owners making sure that we had plenty to eat and that we were happy with it, which was lovely. I would definitely recommend it to friends and we would stay again ourselves. Many thanks.

Best B&B in Blackpool!
I stayed here over the May bank holiday with my girlfriend. Anthony & Debs are the friendliest owners we've ever met, they really couldn't do enough to help. The breakfast was amazing, with the bacon and sausages coming from a local butcher. It is pretty much in the middle of the Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower, so a 5 minute walk either way. I am looking forward to staying here again.

Lovely B&B in a great location. Very friendly couple who run the guesthouse are brilliant, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The breakfasts are great too!! Would definitely stay here again.

Friendly couple and very welcoming Perfect location for blackpool beech. Family room with double bed a good sized bunk beds and a great shower. If you love music it's the place to go. Only issue with the area is parking but the hotel opposite have a agreement to park there for a £5 per night

Great for Families
Stayed here for 3 nights over Easter, 2 adults, 2 kids, in a family room. Double bed in a decent sized room with Bunks in an adjoining room, again a decent size, plenty of hangers for clothes and ample storage space for bags, coats etc. Clean bathroom with plenty of hot water and towels. Breakfast was an excellent Full English, cooked to order, and a choice of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, toast, juices, tea and coffee, with a Queen CD playing in the background, excellent stuff! The bar area is done out in a music theme, with all sorts of memorabilia on the walls, and the prices are really very reasonable. The owners are extremely pleasant and helpful and little touches such as Easter Eggs on the table for the kids when they came down on the Sunday morning were a great surprise. Thank you very much for such a pleasant stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend and will definitely be back.

Had a lovely stay at The Mercury, it is run by two very welcoming and helpful people. Extremely accommodating particularly with children. This made our time in Blackpool a lovely family occasion.
