Room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful

Front desk staff consisted of one person. Not very friendly. Tried to have a conversation with her but she was pretty much non-responsive. The room was large and spacious which was probably the only thing that I can give it four stars for. The shower was extremely noisy. It's screeched at almost ear piercing sound levels. There must be air in the pipes. I had to stop the shower and get out it was so noisy. I tried changing the water but it didn't work. The floor in the room is carpeted and it was fairly dirty. I was in my sock feet and I walked on things the number of times. Maybe they're using an old vacuum and it's not doing a good job of sucking up the dirt. With it being winter I'm sure salt is being tracked through. The light on the heat pump glares in your face at night time. If I turned over that light was coming right into my face. The fridge, as nice as it is to have in the room, was also very noisy. It was rattling most of the night. I open the door a couple times to try to adjust it but it didn't stop. The inn on the lake is a bit of a historic property. It's been there for a long time. It's been renovated several times but it's starting to show its age again, it's very dated. The sink in the bathroom is stained yellow. I stayed on a Monday night and booked through Expedia at 170 per night plus tax and hotel fees. I don't feel that it lived up to its $200 value.

Clean and convenient

Amazing place to stay. Ultra luxurious. Had everything, simply perfect. Booked cottage #2, best view ever!

Positives: - Staff was so friendly - Shuttle was prompt and driver was friendly - bed & bathroom clean Cons: - There were nail clippings beside the bed. - Bed I could feel the springs and my back was shot in the am. - If your room is to the left of elevator half of them you have to drag your luggage up a few stairs. I was ok but if you struggle with mobility and lifting it's not compatible. - the room service food is horrible - outdated room Overall definitely not my 1st option but in a pinch it works. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Shuttle driver was friendly and shuttle ran right ontime. It is first come so I would suggest 15min before it comes to be in lobby.
