Un poco lejos de la zona, el hotel es lindo pero con sus años, la zona del desayuno es lo mejor. Las camas son incómodas, no estaría mal cambiar los colchones

El personal muy amable y el desayuno, sin ser muy extenso, estaba muy bueno, a menos de 10 min andando de la Piazza Maggiore

Un poco apartado del centro
La habitación (junior suite) muy amplia y cómoda, el desayuno bueno. El parking muy cerca del hotel aunque algo complicado de acceder. La zona un poco apartada, con poca vida cerca, aunque a 10 minutos andando del centro.

Charming hotel with superb customer service
Hotel Porta San Mamolo is charming - a veritable "home away from home" thanks to superb staff who bend over backwards to meet every customer's needs & solve any problem. At first, I was unsure about the hotel's location; however, it turned out to be very convenient (easy walking distance) to all of Bologna's main attractions. Also, one of the best & most reasonable restaurants in town was just meters from the hotel.

It’s my second time staying here. Love the location, there are two great restaurants on this street and it’s close to everything. The hotel is elegant and comfortable. The new wing’s rooms are nicely renovated with a spacious Bathroom for Italy and fantastic shower. Wonderful breakfast room.

This is a charming little hotel / residence within 10-15 minutes walk to the main square and shopping area. Great staff attitude and service. If we had to come back we would stay here again.

A nice, clean hotel with a beautiful garden. Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful. There are a couple of very good restaurants within steps of the hotel. It is a little distance from the center of Bologna but in a nice, safe area..

Agréable hotel mais très perfectible
Un joli hotel avec un charmant patio mais la moitié de l'hotel n'a pas d'ascenseur, il faut donc monter ses bagages soit même dans sa chambre. En fonction des chambres la rue peut être bruyante le soir. Enfin le petit déjeuner est un peu trop simple. buffet d'assez bonne qualité mais très peu de choix (seulement 2 types de viennoiseries et 1 gateau pour le sucré) par exemple

Hotel in posizione strategica nel cuore del centro storico di Bologna, camere confortevoli che affacciano sul cortile interno. Garage con posto auto comodo e limitrofo all'hotel. L'intero staff professionale, estremamente gentile, disponibile e accogliente come raramente accade di incontrare. Assolutamente consigliato anche per l'attenzione dedicata ai bambini.

Lovely hotel
We had a lovely stay at the hotel. Bologna is a beautiful city. The hotel was in a quiet area but within 10 minutes walk of the centre. The staff were friendly and did anything for you. We hired a car for the day and this was arranged by the hotel staff. The room was comfortable and clean with a large king sized bed. We ate in a restaurant around the corner on our first night and the food was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We are a family of 4 adults staying in two rooms - one twinned and one extra double, which are next to each other. We stayed for 4 nights in Feb half term. Location: 10/15 minutes walk to main town square, 25 mins to Bologna Centrale train station. Or use 32 bus (circular) round outskirt of main town. HPSM is in a residential area which is nicer, quieter and with better air quality than those near train stations. Facilities: only triple room has tea and coffee making facilities; all have hairdryer, mini bar and safe. Lovely shower but it is a shame that it has no baths. Good breakfast, a wide range of food and drinks. Beautiful courtyards, ideal for summer outdoor seating. Staff: very helpful and friendly. Rooms are cleaned and towels replaced everyday. Overall: A great place to stay, close to main square and there are two very good restaurants nearby, one (in the corner) is listed in a guide book. Bookings are essential.
