“We used to stay in motels around Brookings until we found this place. It’s perfect for the whole family (even dogs as it is fully fenced) and you can’t help just wandering around the yard and relaxing in the hammock or backyard swings. This place made us slow down and enjoy the sweet moments of a family vacation. Jane really takes care in preparing the house down to the last little details that shows she really cares and loves her home and wants you to enjoy it as much as she does! Like adorable……

“Beautiful surroundings in the woods, frequented by deer. Private and quite. Hosts were very pleasant. We enjoyed our stay here. The one downside was the foam mattress was not comfortable for my husband and it had a plastic cover on it that became damp and sticky during the night. A nice mattress topper would help that.”

Could have installed a bigger water heater as it so small only 1-2 people can take a shower the rest have to wait an hour to get the next group on. I recommend installing an instant hot water tank in the unit it’s not much more in cost. Other than that the cabin was perfect and we will be back!!!!”

“This is a great spot if you are looking for a quiet charming place to enjoy some down time. It’s best probably for a couple, but will sleep more. The cabin itself is marvelous. It’s small and very efficiently laid out. The builder handmade much of it and everything is wonderfully crafted. You can feel the quality of the hand construction.
