“Great friendly staff, safe, clean, comfortable ”

“Gorgeous hotel!!! The front desk staff were excellent and the lobby area was beautiful, the restaurant was closed but the “small bites” offered by the front desk were delicious and very reasonably priced. The room was very clean. The only thing was that *every* flat surface in the rooms is wood….the nightstands, tables, console under the TV, floor…and sometimes drinks and ice buckets sweat, and there are no coasters or anything so there’s nowhere to set drinks that you don’t worry about……

“Check-in was smooth and efficient — one of the few places where staff actually check and respond to Expedia messages! We really appreciated that they honored our request for two side-by-side rooms, making our stay even more comfortable. The rooms were impressively clean and thoughtfully furnished. “We were on a road trip and spent one night at this property, and it had all of the needed amenities, such as a microwave and refrigerator. It was extremely clean, the parking was easy and close to the cottage, and the staff was very nice and responsive. There is only one thing that I would suggest, and that is for management to put a caution sign on the rear gate, near the play structure, that leads to the forest. The sign should clearly state, “Enter at your own risk.” The gate, gives the……

“Nice room for a night or two (I was passing through on my way to Oregon from So Cal). I was in room 10. It felt spacious, especially travling alone. High ceilings with wood beams gave it a nice rustic feel. There is Laundry on one side and public bathroom (for the pool area maybe) on the other, so no direct neighbors to speak of (room had its own shower)… it was quiet. Very friendly staff. Pod coffee and tea in the room. Patio was sufficient. It had a table with a couple chairs and it was……

“This cute cottage was perfect for my family of four and our pup (thanks again for being dog-friendly -- the basket of toys, blankets, & bowls was such a nice touch!). We didn't have too much time in Garberville but really enjoyed the garden and the decor in the cottage. The clawfoot tub was a bit of a (cool) throwback, and I loved the tapestries and overall peaceful vibe of the place. I'd definitely stay again and would enjoy exploring the area when not in the middle of a 20-hour drive ;).……
