Scotia Lodge has a very cool all around esthetic. Rooms are small but bathrooms are huge! I wished we could have eaten at the restaurant but it was closed. I would highly recommend staying here is you are in the Eureka area.

Great garden with many tall redwood. Elegant and spacy room.

Clean and well maintained. Staff was accommodating and helpful. Great stay. Close to Redwoods and other great stuff on the coast.

The ocean view from the rooms is amazing ! We loved our stay so much. The staff really made my husband's birthday weekend special. Will definitely be going back!

What an enjoyable surprise! We didn’t know what to expect but what we got was a beautifully appointed, newly renovated and extremely clean king room. The location was superb with Adirondack chairs for ocean-gazing. We did not use the hot tub and couldn’t light the fire pit. Close to Gyppo restaurant and a coffee shop was in the adjacent hotel. WiFi, TV, coffee makers and refrigerator in the room. We would definitely return to Black sands Inn.

A charming suite the owner and his wife built above the detached garage for their teenage daughters, now grown and moved away, this rental has three rooms--a living room, bedroom, and large bathroom--along with a private deck. The rooms have slanted roofs, gabled windows and a built-in window seat. All are wallpapered, curtained, and upholstered in feminine patterns. All is done with so much artistic sensibility and so much family love! And all--every item, every corner-- is spotless! To stay...

Stunning views of the ocean from our balcony room! Shelter Cove is a very safe, quiet and laid back area. While you can’t walk the beach here, it is very beautiful and unique to look at and ocean views are amazing. Lots of unusual rock formations, sea lion spotted. Deer greeted us in parking lot. We hope to return some day!

Location was nice.. affordable .. breakfast voucher was really good. recreation center for kids was good wish it was in the property.. The pool was very small..

Really nice restored Victorian style and really clean!

arrived in time for a complimentary wine & cheese happy hour. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was helpful to point us to gas station and start of "Avenue of Giants". Complimentary breakfast was fantastic with Denver omelets, etc. i would highly recommend this place.

Everything was just perfect. The staff was very helpful. The room very quaint and what I expected. The restaurant was exceptional. I am planning a return family visit in 2016 and we will be staying at the Benbow!

Great hotel with a terrific microbrewery next door. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable room.

Cute cabin and lovely to be on the river. Nice pool and spa. Cabin was very small and no bathroom sink. But for one night it was fun. Groceries and food just down the road so very convenient.

The property is a wonderfully updated motel. While not on Hwy 101 it is on the main st thru town. The rooms were clean and comfortable with the best Wi-Fi in town and smart tvs. The motel was easy to find with nice bar/restaurant next door serving food til midnight.

This little gem of a place was just perfect! Easy to find, very clean. And a really nice staff. And best of all they allow dogs.

Got in very late but nice clear and concise info was waiting for us; loved the Breakfast at the Inn!

Nice place clean and quiet

This bed and breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. I came here for an anniversary with my boyfriend and we couldn't have been happier. We stayed in the fountain suite, which has a king sized bed, a tv, fireplaces and two bathtubs. It was the perfect place to relax and spend time together.
