We LOVE the Benbow Inn. It is a unique and cherished inn that my family has visited for over 75 years. The staff are friendly (one even played the piano while I was reading in the main room), and the grounds and building are extraordinary, beautiful, and of a bygone era. Also, not to be missed: scones and tea at 3:00!

Beautiful property and very nice ambiance.Staff was very helful,parking very easy.The dining options need work.The food is not very impressive.Some dishes were heavily salted and I am big on salt so if I think it’s salty then it’s really salty.There is not much in the area for dining so you are pretty much a captive audience.

We loved this historic hotel. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The front desk staff were super helpful and the morning tea in the bar hit the spot for us. We will defitnitely stay here again.

The property is historic, so the HVAC system is dated and a little noisy. There is a pool but it’s not in close proximity to the hotel. The restaurant food and environment was very good, however a little pricey. Overall a good place to stay, the bed was comfortable and I slept well.

Charming hotel, staff wee great. Restaurant was understaffed for July 4th but they were able to accomodate us. Highly recommend it but please make sure you have a dinner reservation on busy days. Also, the bar and restaurant have beautiful patios on both sides but they both close at 9pm. There is nothing nearby. Suggestion for management - maybe consider staying open later?

Beautiful setting. Classic. Food is wonderful. Staff always very helpful but they could have staffed a bit differently to be sure there was always a person close by. Need to beef up gift shop. It’s the Inns 100th birthday and not a piece of clothing, hat or gift to commemorate this landmark. How about Winston teddy bears? Truly loved our stay.

Quaint English style Inn in beautiful Southern Humboldt. The best thing about this place is the bar/restaurant. We had dinner there each of the 3 nights we were there. Service and food were excellent. The room was unique with heavy scent of smoke from the wood burning fireplace (which we did not use).

A unique historical property with understated elegance. Well preserved but with modern convenience. The Clara suite was airy, bright, and comfortable. The complementary sherry was a nice touch tho not our cup of tea. Dinner was excellent with impeccable service
