Since your visit, we have addressed the wifi concerns. We're happy to inform you that we installed access points that allow wifi to be accessed all throughout our property. The exposed wires were due to the wifi being worked on before your stay, and have since been closed. As for the air conditioning, just as you stated, it is not a main practice in the DR to have AC in the main areas. Thanks, for staying at Villa De La Fiesta, Your comfort is most importation to us. We are so happy to receive your comment about a great job our staff is doing to make your stay pleasant. I am sure by your next Visit the cable TV company would have completed the upgrade of the NEW fiber optics line they are running Thru-out Sosua. Unfairly we did not receive any notice of the changeover and were taken off guard, so the best we could do is add the hot spot for your Wifi. Now that there are 2 Companies that provide cable & wifi in the area we are having both runs the services to the Villa, so when one goes down the other will serve as a backup. ( SO thanks for your feedback). With the power outage most of the time its Tuesday ALL DAY that's why we added all new generator at all of 4 Villas. It's my understanding that a major accident took down some power lines out late night, and Although the emergency generator kicked in the backup power beep was not silenced due to a power surge blowing the reset switch out. Unfounantley in these 3rd world country things like this happen, all we can do is respond as quickly as possible, I am pleased that the staff got the services crew out and corrected the problem first thing in the AM. We have some great upgrades coming in 2019, Like a 6 person Sauna. beer dispenser for a kegerator, more modern furniture & the Opening of the 12 people HOT tub in the extended yard. The Annex will also be opening that is only 200 yards away and has 3 more beds rooms 5 beds and 4 bathrooms with TV & air in all room, It also has a 75-foot long pool.
