DO NOT STAY HERE!
Shortly after arriving , there were several cleaning issues such as smell, horrible rusted shower curtain , molded shower curtain liner, dirty and mold bathtub and shower head, food in couch ,random pill on the couch , dirty toaster oven , the pillows were disgusting, linens smelled , bugs here and there she referred to as palmetto bugs (look it up) these are a few issues. I contacted the owner immediately via messaging. I informed her of this and that I was not happy. Also that I took photos of everything. She responded defensively and told me she inspected the condo personally and it was fine. She never offered to come and correct or should I say clean anything. Not sure what I paid a cleaning fee for. We purchased cleaning supplies for the bathroom , our own pillows, laundry soap to wash the linens and bedding. Did not use toaster oven, tried to use the 2 skillets one with a handle coming off but everything stuck , the one saucepan had something burnt in it so cooking didn’t happen either! the mattress pad is stained , so disgusting had to layer that. She said nothing but basically oh well I think it’s clean her Version of clean! Avoid this condo !!! Proof with photos and her message response if anyone would like !

Wow Angela. Just wow. Let's start by calling this what it is. These are lies and exaggerations used by you in your attempt to hustle money from me. In my response, which was not rude or sarcastic, I was able to call you out on your deceit. This was a bit embarrassing, right? So to try and save face you became even more hostile. I do not engage with this type of irrational behavior. Have you no shame Angela? And please stop harassing me by continuing to submit more hostile emails.

It’s all about the view!
We had a wonderful stay here! The view is fabulous and you hear the ocean waves 24/7! Since we were here early spring and early in the week, it was very quiet. Someone did come to the condo below us the last day and had music playing, which we could hear throughout the condo. I would suggest to the property manager to replace the mildewed shower curtain lining and rusted shower rod. These are easy, inexpensive updates. The bed was comfortable. The one star for communication I’d remove if I could, but there was no “human”communication at all. Just know that, in case it makes you wonder. We did receive all the info we needed a few days ahead and had no issues. This condo has what you need and no more, but it’s hard to beat that view for the price! I’d definitely consider coming back!

Property is exactly as advertised. It was a great location at the north end of Carolina Beach with nearly direct access to the beach. The property was clean and the porch was close to the waves and ocean.

Good two days by the beach
We had a great stay. The property is a bit "tired", but otherwise clean. You will not get a property closer to the beach (which is perhaps unfortunate for the property's eventual fate.

Ocean-front View
The ocean-front view was amazing. We spent hours on the balcony just soaking in the view and the sun. Great location- near restaurants and local attractions. We had a great time.

Beautiful location!
Extremely clean unit, very friendly and excellent communication with the unit owners. The ocean front view is truly amazing! The only thing we think could be improved would be if some conveniences were provided like soap and napkins… If we were local it would be no big deal to bring with us, but we flew across the country to visit and it’s hard to bring everything like that with us on the plane…

We liked the location, but the furnishings need to be refreshed. The chairs on the deck need to be replaced before it is rented again. There was one saucepan in the kitchen that didn't look to be safe to use. We just used the microwave instead. To be clear, there was only one saucepan in the kitchen. No bar of bath soap, only hand soap with a pump . We have rented many condos over the years and unfortunately this unit did not meet our expectations. We also killed a very large cockroach during our stay.I don't know if this a common thing at the beach.

This property was just what we needed for a quiet getaway. It’s close enough to dining and the boardwalk and far enough to make it feel as if you are alone on your own. The furniture is comfortable and the kitchen provides most things you might need to prepare basic meals if you do not want to go out.

The beach spot I own...
... Well, at least for one week this year! The views are sublime. The constant sound of the surf will lull you to rest quickly. This is our favorite among many "getaways". It's tucked in nicely and the area is tidy. The pool is perfect, just across the road. We met a few new friendly folks, and we feel welcome! My only regret is not booking longer.

Great little place!
The location is everything! It’s quiet at night, we rode our bikes down to the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk in the evening for dinner and drinks. Walked to the beach everyday. A perfect vacation.

Amazing beach rental
We stayed at this location for 5 days. We had two adults and one 1 year old in the condo. The condo was perfect for us. The closet in the bathroom is large enough to fit a pack n play, though we kept the door open. Right out front of the condo is rocky and the tide comes up pretty far but if you walk a short walk down the road you are able to walk directly out on to the beach without a boardwalk or stairs. This was helpful because we took our son in a wagon. We pulled the wagon right up to our beach spot without a problem. There were previous reviews regarding the cleanliness of the condo which made us a little weary. However, the condo was clean, shower curtain was new, fan blades were clean, bed was comfortable, etc. The only issue we had was running out of trash bags. We should have packed some with us. We had no issue parking outside of the condo. The pool is across the street but it’s a super short walk. The pool is locked so you’ll need to make sure you grab the key provided. You could hear those above us walking but it wasn’t bothersome. It’s kind of expected in a condo setting. I communicated with the owner a few times and she responded almost immediately and was super friendly. Overall, it was an amazing experience. We definitely plan on staying here again.

Perfect location Great Price
If you want something with a great view this is the place. Can't get any closer to ocean. Easy short walk to beach access. Condo isnt huge but honestly is perfect for the 3 of us and you typically dont spend much time in condo. Neighbors upstairs sometimes sounded like they were dragging furniture across the floor but otherwise nice and quiet. Beach area was not crowded and felt private which we loved. Only complaint i have is we wereleft 1 roll toilet paper for 3 people for 5 days and we wish there were more cooking, baking sheets. Overall we were satisfied with our stay.

Overall great vacation.
The condo itself was nice and in a great location. The kitchen is in no way fully equipped. We had 3 plates for my family of 4, 1 frying pan, the one measuring cup had a hole in it. Other than the kitchen description it was a great place to stay.

Wonderful deck with comfortable chairs and a fabulous oceanfront view. The bed was comfortable and the condo has everything you need to get started on a relaxing vacation. Sheila was quick to respond to questions. We would definitely book again.

Bucket List kind of trip! Husbands 1st time seeing the ocean.
The view from the balcony is AMAZING!! We spent a lot of time there. We got to see a dolphin, Beautiful sunrises, people fishing, etc… Walks on the beach we’re so relaxing. It is on the 2nd floor in the middle of the building which turned out be perfect. It gave us shade, coverage when it rained, and privacy. Have never seen my husband so relaxed and content. He is always one to not sit still. At times he didn’t want to leave the balcony. We barely noticed the inside, although it was cute. A couple of people had mentioned it could use a good deep cleaning. Thinking the ocean breeze blows in sand. Isn’t this just a part of being so close to the ocean? We cleaned off our sandy feet outside with the supplied hose, and still by the end of the week we had some sand on the floors. It was clean when we got there. Our truck was on the other side of the building away from the ocean, yet everyday it was covered in a light film of sand. We are so Grateful to you for sharing your place with us! We are hoping to be back! Soon! Would spend more time on the balcony, if possible.

Nice property in a great location but...
This is a nice 1 bedroom in a great location right on the beach.It's a short drive to town center and the boardwalk., with lots of small touristy shops. However i would'nt consider staying here again unless they first replaced the aged lumpy mattress and the rediculously bad bed linens, and also cleaned or replaced the mouldy shower curtin.

Beachfront bargain…
Easy to locate, easy parking, easy check in! Oceanfront condo has everything you need. Absolutely stunning view of the Atlantic Ocean right from your balcony. Watched an absolutely gorgeous sunrise coffee in hand. All the cable channels you could want. Close to shopping and minutes to downtown. Can’t wait to go back!

One night getaway
My husband and I went on an overnight getaway. The location was perfect right up against the ocean with a beautiful view. The only issue we had was cleanliness. It was super dusty. Dust was caked on the cabinets and was so built up on the fan blades that it was falling off into our bed. I did express this to the owner. I felt somewhat dismissed. When I pay for a room, I shouldn't have dust falling in the bed. Also, the mattress cover is covered in stains. Very unappealing as you are taking the sheets off and see that. I informed them of this and I was told that they knew it was stained but it was "clean." Still very disgusting to look at.

Great location...but noisy!
The condo was mostly clean and stocked with a few hiccups. The shower curtain is absolutely gross and is an easy fix.....so I'm not sure why there isn't a new curtain. There wasn't any paper towels or garbage bags. There was one half roll of toilet paper without any extra. The noisy part of the stay came from the next door neighbors. They are appear young and have very little respect for music volume levels. All that being said it is a great location. It's definitely enough space for two people. Even with these hiccups we overall enjoyed our stay!

Great view
We stayed here last year at the same time (winter break, for a week) and again, it was really nice. Perfect for two people. Everything was basically clean, but the property could use a deep clean. The bed is very comfortable, but the linens could be refreshed. Plenty of towels and bathroom stuff. The kitchen was well stocked with basic pots and pans and utensils, but because we cook a lot, we brought one of our own frying pans and were glad we did. Great seafood market nearby and a Publix also nearby, so very convenient if you like to cook and need a few items. The view is spectacular from the main room and the bedroom. Great tiki bar a four minute walk away at the CB North pier. Overall a great stay, the only Vrbo property we have stayed at more than once (so far). Highly recommend.

My birthday weekend get-away
We wanted a weekend just for 2 to celebrate my birthday-the condo is just right for 1-2 individuals; loved the location because we fish @ Freeman’s Park; the overall facility was clean-with our ‘first look’ —however it needs a good cleaning-ie: dusty around the kitchen cabinets; & shower liner was molded; But I’m a picky person on cleanliness-so I look @ everything! Would I stay there again-yea!

Nice quick getaway
Great location-drop dead gorgeous view from porch, kitchen, bedroom and living room. Bed is comfy. There are extra pillows in the closet, but if you don’t have pillowcases, you won’t be able to use them. I found previous reviews, correct - vents ceilings, walls, light fixtures, and top of fridge could use a deep, dusting. Pots and pans should be replaced as a Teflon is no longer on the pan. Coffee maker needs replacement - lid doesn’t close and the burner is caked with burnt on spilled coffee from a prior renter. The wooden toilet seat is still cracked-another review item I read about. Otherwise there is lots to see on the beach and in the ocean. Saw lots of dolphins, pelicans, folks fishing and people surfing.

Great Location
Great location. Has everything in it. Needs a couple of updates—shower curtain liner needs replacing and kitchen ware needs new pans and the measuring cup leaks. Had a wonderful time there and would certainly come back to same location.

Relaxing Location
The condo was just what we needed, several days of peace and quiet. It was the perfect size for my husband and I. The bed was really comfortable and everything was nice and clean. I loved the location away from the busy tourist area. Easy access to the beach.

Comfy stay
We loved this little condo by the sea. It was very cozy and well stocked. The views were amazing. Well worth the money and we'd go back again. There are some great restaurants nearby and had we been there longer who knows what we would have found. We were disappointed that the walkout to the beach on our end was blocked off which forced us to walk down the street and thru someone else's parking garage (which had a no trespassing sign posted) in order to access the beach. We also didn't understand that the pool was across the street behind a different set of condos and required a key for access. The key is in the on condo, on the bar by the front door but we had no idea. Maybe a small instruction notebook would be helpful. Its a lovely stretch of the beach. Its quiet and refreshing. The condo was beautiful and comfortably furnished. It would also be helpful to make mention more prominently that it is 2nd floor (3 flights of steps) and no elevator. Elderly people would have difficulty going up and down and getting their luggage up and down. I have a bad back and it was difficult. The listing does mention (in very obscure place) that property is not handicap accessible. All this said..be enjoyed our stay and would go back. Thank you for sharing your lovely home by the sea.

It is an older property that would benefit from a deep cleaning and a few updates. The door going out of the bedroom onto the balcony is very insecure, it didn’t close properly. Again it is an older unit.

Perfect Ocean View!
Best VRBO for a couple! Very comfortable sofa and recliner with huge tv...... all of which are rare in VRBOs! Perfect view of beach and ocean from den and bedroom! Kitchen was perfect too! We will definitely be staying at this condo again and again! It's our favorite VRBO we've ever stayed in!

Amazing!!
What a perfect and cozy condo for my husband and I. We stayed for 5 days and loved every minute. We will definitely be back. The condo is super cute and cozy. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bathroom was as well. The bed and living room furniture was comfortable. The view was ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! We got a workout with all of the steps lol! But trust me it’s worth it. So glad we chose this condo. The entire process was wonderful!

Wonderful condo with beachfront views!!
My husband and I decided to stay here for our wedding anniversary and it was PERFECT!! The area is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well stocked, the whole place was clean, and the ocean views were stunning. There is a pull-out couch available that's perfect for small families as well. We will be back!!

The view is absolutely stunning!!!
My fiancé and I stayed for a week in July and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!! The view of the beach and ocean from the balcony is beautiful!! The condo was comfortable and very close to the beach accesses and the pool. I will say that the condo could use a deep clean. The tops of the walls were dusty in some areas, especially the bathroom. The baseboards could use a good cleaning as well. Other than that, everything was wonderful! We plan to book this condo for another stay next summer!!

Great location and price
The location was wonderful. Beach acces was to one side of the building so a lot closer than I was expecting! Small kitchen but we prefer to eat out while on vacation so it had no impact on us. I would definitely rent this place again.
