The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodations are basic but clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is amazingly quiet.

The over all stay was okay. The only thing that really got me was that the air conditioner and heater unit was not working at all and the temperatures were cold at night. The gentleman at the front desk brought me a portable space heater to keep me warm. I just didn't like that the window unit was not working at all. Not good.

They need to make it more inviting. If you have a family of 4 sleeping and there was only 2 big towels to dry yourself.. Needs to be more cleaner... Not happy with my stay..

One night in Carrizo
Just needed a place for the night. Room was nice air worked, hot water, clean towels, cable TV, I'll be back. Been here before will be back again

Not much of anything.
Meh...overpriced for nothing. A room, and a couple of towels. Wifi was too confusing...how about a simple password? No breakfast, one coffee packet, two towels...leaning on the cheap side. I suggest passing on through if Carrizo isn't your destination.

Truly disappointed...
Bathroom needs a good deep clean. Windows are super thin and could hear the cars passing all day and all night. Management walked into our room without knocking while we were laying im bed. TV did not work. Very unsatisfied for the price we paid and no discount was offered. Will definitely not return and will make sure to tell all of our friends and family.

The hotel was fine. Nothing fancy but it was clean, quite air conditioner, friendly staff, and location is very convenient to downtown. Good price.

Poor service
The TV cable didn’t work. We called the front seat and the owners came over and did fix it only after a 10-15 min trial and error. The next morning the cleaning man walked into our room without knocking and we were super upset: we had the Rio for 2 nights and it seemed they were eager to push us out since we got the room at a discounted rate through motels.com and it seemed they wanted to rent to oil field employees who pay full price of over $300 a night.

The room was nice and clean and the gentleman who attended me was very nice. Very kind people there. I would definitely stay there again. No problems at check-in or with the room.

Small town
Room was small but clean, supposed to be a non smoking room but it smelled, but manager sprayed it and it was better. Floor was tile. Ok for one night stay.

Room was clean but the sink in the bathroom had a crack and they had applied glue to hold it together. Management failed to clean the glue off before we checked in. Not pleased about that.

Good hotel in a quiet town
When we arrived our reservation was not showing up in their system, but the owner gave us a better price than we were quoted for so that was great. They were in the process of changing the door lock system to new electronic keys that worked with sensors, took a few tries to get our key to work but the owner was there to help us until we were sasitified and good to go. The property is in a very quiet area and we had very restful sleep in the comfy bed. They were very friendly people who wanted to make sure we were happy with our stay and we saw them around the property every day making sure it was maintained well. We would stay at this property again.

Will not stay there again
there are no phone in the rooms, no "do not disturb" signs to hang on the door. cleaning service old man kept knocking on the door even after I shouted we didn't want room service. was not pleased at all, will not stay there again.
