“This was a wonderful property and well appointed. Very spacious and part of a nice, private club in the foothills of western NC. The staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. No complaints other than the one day of rain we had. I will say that this property is fairly remote. Hendersonville is a good 30-35 minute drive and Saluda is about 20 minutes so anytime you want to dine out, it's a bit of a long trip, especially when you are driving dark, windy mountain roads. “Overall it was a great place to stay for our visit of Lake Lure and Asheville. The unit is very nice and a great layout. We were disappointed the unit lacked a number of essentials including paper towels, dish towels, limited utensils and fire wood for the outside fire place. With that being said we would stay there again.”

“Only glitch was that hot water not working, but maintenance came over right away and fixed it. Suggest walk through before guests arrive to make sure everything is working properly. Never able to get outdoor fireplace working. The inconveniences were made up by Cathy taking care of our lunch in the dining facilities which was very nice. :)”

“Loved the set up. Definitely a great place if you have a dog to let them run around. Beautiful water-just hate we didn't have time to put the kayaks in. Would recommend and stay here again. Side Note: The workers at local stores were all very friendly and helpful. I'm from the south but felt like I received "true" southern hospitality everywhere we went. :)”

“Outstanding little place to stay!! Ms. Denise is an incredibly warm and friendly manager!! Very sweet lady!! No dishes or cookware, which was my only disappointment. You download an app to pay for laundry. (Currently $3) Still, it was better equipped than most m/hotels I've stayed in.
