“Muy mala atención”

“Stayed here briefly on a trip to Asheville area. As a solo male traveler, it worked out fine, and the price was right. I'd be less likely recommend it for a solo female or for families. The room was clean enough at first glance, no funky smells or obvious biohazards. I did look around with my blacklight, and I would encourage other travelers to not do that if you plan to stay here. Everything worked in the room. The vending machines up by the front office, not so much. There's the usual……

“The desk lady was very nice. The room smelled and the outlets didn’t work well. Very noisy from rooms above. This property needs some love but was an adequate place to sleep”

“We really wanted to love the Sunset Motel, but it was just okay. Great concept, not fully executed. The bathroom was original - the toilet ran at odd times and the tub drain was old and crusty with no drain plug. It was very clean otherwise. Nice walk to downtown Brevard and everything it has to offer. Room 17 was closest to the road and traffic noise was pretty loud until midnight and started up again around 7 am. Beds were metal and mattresses were only about 6 inches thick. Linens and……

“This place was probably the worst place I have ever stayed in my entire life. First of all my check in was at 3. I got there at 2:45 and they said my room wouldn't probably be done until after 4 which ruined my work route and plans for morgan wallen concert entry time. They wouldn't even allow me to use a public rest room so I had to go offsite to use one even though I should have been able to use my own at 3. The place was disgusting. I have pictures. You get what you pay for.”

“You could tell that they have tried to update the property but still needs a lot of work! For me it was the smoking rooms, even though ours was non-smoking you could smell the next room over smoking through the joining door, which I was very unhappy with!!”
