Hi Arielle, we wanted to pass along the following response from the owners: "We are very sorry about the concerns with the snow, We hope you had a great stay, otherwise. We know the place was clean, the heat was working, there was plenty of firewood for you to use, and open communication with the owner at your disposal. Our regular snow removal person had a breakdown that day, and was without a truck. It was difficult getting anyone over to remove the snow, but we finally did get someone to clear the snow and they came as soon as possible. Our maintenance person came to clear the stairs and deck around the front door that night. You asked the maintenance person not to shovel by the side door or deck. We really do understand your frustration, as we travel a lot, and get easily annoyed when things aren’t 100% at our lodging. We take enormous pride in our rental business, and want people to feel at home. This was simply out of our control, and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay!"
