Nice and cosy in the middle of nowhere!
Beck's Bed and Breakfast was our first experience in the Belizean country and it was a really positive one. Located in Crooked Tree, lost in the middle of nature (a lot of birds!), this house is really beautiful. Robert and Beck are both super kind. We really recommend this place!

Beck's Bed & Breakfast is a sweet jewel of a place in a remote region of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Refuge (a birder's paradise). Robert and Becky are warm, incredibly knowledgable hosts and provide a respite from the hustle and bustle of vacation stress and more tourist dense areas. If you love birds and plants and two sweet dogs you will love staying here. They had Christmas decorations galore so we didn't miss out on the Christmas spirit. We wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much Becky and Robert!!!

Robert was a wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious and the property is lush. My upstairs room was very clean & comfortable. The air conditioning was a life saver, as it was quite steamy in Belize while I was there. Would stay again.

There's so much to like about our experience at Beck's, from the wonderful owners and staff to the magnificent meals to the garden and facility itself! Owners Becky and Robert felt like long time friends and shared their stories about the area and history with us. Robert is a knowledgeable birder and naturalist. A heartfelt muchas gracias to them for introducing us first timers to the spirit of Belize!

The proprietors treat you like family. A very inviting place to relax. Its remote location appealed to me. The 3.5 mile dirt road was a little offputting however. Wifi could have been better, sporadic in my room but fine in the common areas of the property.

Unfortunately there is very little we are able to about the road but there are plans in the making to improve in the next two years. Fantastische plek !
We kwamen er in een off season en ook nog eens veel te vroeg aan maar we werden allerhartelijkst ontvangen. Robert en Becky zijn een geweldige gastheer en -vrouw en doen er alles aan om je meteen thuis te doen voelen. De B&B is prachtig en voorzien van alle comfort, ook al ligt hij zeer afgelegen.

Really liked the property and the hosts. Robert and Becky were wonderful every step and we hope they continue to attract people to Crooked Tree. Rita is an amazing cook! We planned on having only one meal on site but after the first dinner we could not imagine eating anywhere else! We had all great meals in the 11 days we spent in Belize but my family all agree that Becks was the best! The grounds at Becks was beautiful and while we were told to look for birds at most of the places we went in the area we saw the most right at Becks. We suggest the tour at Lamanai and horseback riding near Becks.

Amazing. We chose Becks's because of the good review before for the meals, hospitality etc All true, property is well maintained, room very spacious and clean. And meals are incredibly good. Very large portions too

More than a Bed & Breakfast. Excellent!
We loved our 2 night stay with Becks & Robert. Their property is so much more than a simple B & B, it’s more like a boutique hotel. They are charming hosts and Robert is an accomplished naturalist & took us on an evening tour of the surrounding Nature Reserve which was fantastic. They also booked our boat tour to Lamanai & even rescued us when our rental car broke down. All in all this was a first class experience & so much more than we expected for the price.

We had a fantastic visit at Becks Bed and Breakfast. First of all, Robert, his wife and daughter in law were excellent hosts. Our room was comfortable, the location is perfect for quietness and birdwatching, the food was some of the best we’ve ever had, the beautiful surroundings were delightful. We spent time on the top floor watching and listening to a huge variety of birds, some I’ve never seen before. Highlight was seeing a few white headed parrots . We discussed going back at another time because we were not ready to leave and would love to stay there again. Our visit was the best way to spend our last night in Belize.

Beautiful room, great family, excellent food. I have traveled all over Belize, and the fact that Becks has hot and cold running water, working AC, a television, and a mirror in the bathroom ranks it as a luxury destination :-). Highly recommend.

Beck's Bed & Breakfast is wonderful!
We researched and reviewed several B&Bs in the Crooked Tree Wildlife Sanctuary area and decided on Beck's Bed and Breakfast - and what a good decision that was! We've stayed in B&Bs all over the world and this one is one of the best. Robert and Becky are great hosts and their place is stunningly beautiful. Our room was large, beautifuly decorated, with a great, comfortable bed, a huge bathroom and a really large closet. The grounds are gorgeous and Robert is very knowedgeable about the flora and fauna. He showed us their cashew trees and taught us all about the harvest. He also arranged our tour of the Lamanai ruins (which was great!). We enjoyed walking around the property and resting in the hammocks on the open air patio. We ordered dinner one night and the food was delicious, as were the breakfasts - Becky is an outstanding chef. Although Beck's is off the beaten path, outside of Crooked Tree Village, it is well worth the drive. Overall, it is a fantastic place and we hope to return someday.

Une propriété de charme
Les chambres sont spacieuses et très propres. Les propriétaires sont toujours présents pour vous aider à organiser vos visites. Ils sont très gentils et aiment parler de leur pays. Le jardin a de nombreux arbres fruitiers et vous pourrez y voir de nombreux oiseaux. Il y a également une piscine pour se rafraîchir. Le petit déjeuner est excellent. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés. C’est vraiment une bonne adresse.

Hidden Gem off the beaten path.
Fantastic B&B and best food of our entire trip. This is a hidden gem in Belize off the beaten path. We really enjoyed Becki and Robert who made our stay the best of our Belize trip . Robert also arranged our trip by boat to Lamanai. Had a low tire one morning and Robert pumped it up and got us on our way to the tire repair shop in Orange Walk. They are a very pleasant couple who represent the best in hospitality.

After reading the reviews and doing some research I recommended this Bed & Breakfast to my client and they obtained the last room over the Christmas week. The following is their review: Dear...Beck's Bed & Breakfast High five , Thumbs up and Hearty hand shake. Thanks so much for a wonderful experience at your establishment. We can't imagine our holidays being any more memorable without your ...kind and attentive approach. You all were so delightful and that really reflects on how you manage your Bed & Breakfast. Meals were spot on in every respect, rooms were gorgeous and your property is just absolutely beautiful. We found Robert to be an extraordinary wealth of information and admired his commitment to making his guests feel very safe , welcome, and an all around engaging fella with oodles of knowledge of local wild life and flora and fauna. Unfortunately we only spent one week in Belize @ your Bed & Breakfast but, at the end of the week when we had to say our goodbyes ....we felt like we were saying goodbye to family. Elegant rooms + caring owners = perfect stay
Becky and Robert are warm, open, welcoming owners, and so knowledgeable and helpful. The B&B itself looks like something out of a design magazine - elegant, comfortable (and so clean!!). Breakfast was delicious, with tons of local fruit and fresh juices, in an open air patio that worked rain or shine. Perfect location for exploring the country, too - an hour or hour and a half to everything...and Robert can arrange everything. My kids and I absolutely will stay here again when we return - Beck's helped make a once-in-a-lifetime vacation for all of us. It's a gem.

Best people in the world
Robert & Becky were extremely friendly and accommodating. Becky is a superb cook. Robert is a great birding guide. Both are intelligent, genuine, kind people. When I'm on vacation I just want to go, go, go. But, with the owners of Beck's B&B, it was so at ease and felt an immediate connection to our hosts, I lost track of time conversing with them. The property is beautiful and immaculate.

The Best
We had a wonderful stay. We hired Robert to take us birding. We saw so many birds. Robert also educated us regarding the plants, both medicinal and edible, the local history and economy and the ecosystem. The food was excellent and was prepared considering our dietary restrictions which are many. We were so happy to stay here and hope to return. We took the local Orange Walk bus to mile 33 on the Northern Highway. Robert and Becky met us there to take us to their Bed and Breakfast. We highly recommend this beautiful place.

Drive out was on poor quality roads so you need a sturdy vehicle to access it. Included breakfast was delicious and freshly made at your requested time. Grounds were perfect for birding and was beautifully planted with natural vegetation.

Beautiful Escape!
Beck's Bed and Breakfast was absolutely wonderful!! My boyfriend and I were welcomed as soon as we entered the property. Robert gave us a quick and informative tour of the property. The room was a great space to relax and stretch out after a long flight. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the breakfast meals every morning, and the flexible breakfast times were according to our plans for the long days. Yummy food and chill oasis of bird watching and sipping on wine in the hammocks- what could be better! I highly recommend anyone to stop by and stay there. I know I'll return one day.

Amazing stay for my first night in Belize!!
Robert and Becky are amazing!!! Everything about our stay was perfect!! The suite we had for our stay was amazing, very spacious and well decorated. I chose to go out on a nature walk with Robert early in the morning to check out the local wildlife, which was totally amazing. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife. When the walk concluded, Becky was there with breakfast waiting. The food was incredible!!! I wish I could have stayed longer, but unfortunately I was limited to just one night. If I am ever in Belize again, I will stay here every time!!! Thank you so much Robert and Becky!!

Lovely bed and breakfast in beautiful setting
Lovely Bed and Breakfast set in a beautiful nature preserve area with most interesting and congenial Belizean hosts who really knew history of area. Close proximity to airport where there are no decent hotels. A bit off the main road but worth the trip. Wonderful breakfast... and dinner can be added for reasonable cost and is recommended since no good restaurants in immediate vicinity.

Excellent vacation spot
We loved our stay, Becky and Robert were great host. We felt like we were leaving family when we left. Room was great, breakfast was great. Would love to stay there next time in Belize. We are now friends with Becky and Robert on facebook (new family)

Beautiful, Cozy, and Unique B&B
My boyfriend & I had a great stay Beck's Bed & Breakfast. When we arrived we were provided with transportation to the B&B by Becky's husband Robert. The B&B is a great place to stay if you're looking for a nature setting that's away from heavy tourist areas. Becky & her family went above & beyond to provide us with excellent service during the duration of our stay. Becky & Rita personally prepared & served all the meals, which were delicious, & made with fresh ingredients. Breakfast, came with fresh fruit, yogurt, & eggs prepared in various different ways. Dinner is not included with the hotel stay but is provided upon request, & we absolutely recommend it because each time we requested it, we were never disappointed. On their property there are cashew trees which make for an exotic tasty treat. Becky & her family understood our adventurous nature & when we ventured off on our own her son Dan provided us with helpful tips on where to go & how to get there. Becky's husband, Robert, is also a certified tour guide who offers various different activities & excursions. We scheduled a few with him, & he was able to provide us with quiet the experience & even introduced us to some local dishes! He is very knowledgeable about the history, & geographical landscape of Belize. We enjoyed his company, which felt more like we were out with a friend, than a tour guide. For a unique experience & personally provided services we recommend a stay in Crooked Tree at Beck's Bed & Breakfast
