A Good Deal in Deal
Except for the seagulls, this is a charming and serene area in a lovely renovated 1900s English cottage. 839 square feet on two levels. Pebble Beach is half a block away. The town center, restaurants, and shops are all within walking distance. Swim in the English Channel. Rent a bike if you enjoy cycling. Sandwich is a 6 mile ride east on a flat beach route across the countryside. The White Cliffs of Dover are 8 miles away to the west. Mooi ingerichte woning , schoon en smaakvol en charmant ingericht. We misten wel wat theedoeken om de afwas af te drogen en pannen onderzettertje. De verwarming stond iets te laag afgesteld voor de maand november waardoor het wat killer en vochtigere rook in het begin. Maar voor de rest was alles prima

PEBBLE BEACH
The décor of this small cottage is mainly blue & white to enhance the seaside theme. The tiny galley/kitchen is equipped for simple self-catering — our preference — & the separate dining room is spacious & comfortable. The cottage is just a few minutes walk from the beach, local shops, pubs, restaurants, etc. The only drawback could be the staircase, which is narrow & steep, with high risers & narrow treads, & a rope ‘handrail’ attached to the wall: rather like being on a small boat. But for most young people this will probably add to the charm of the place.

Lovely week away!
Great location, excellent for exploring surrounding areas, we took our bikes and cycled most days, great flat promenade. Cottage was comfortable and clean, never had a problem parking, even in peak times! Will definitely return.

Great little cottage in a very pleasant seaside town
This cottage is well equipped, very clean, spacious, pleasantly decorated and nicely located for a UK seaside break. The owner was extremely pleasant and helpful to deal with. We had a lovely 8 night stay, found lots to do, visited some quaint and interesting nearby locations such a Broadstairs, Canterbury and Ramsgate but also we enjoyed the opportunity to relax in the delightful area around Deal. Parking outside the cottage was very convenient. We hope to return another year.

Great cottage in great location
Perfect for myself, partner and 4yr old son. Found a parking spot every day. Neighbours were all so lovely and helpful. Mark the owner was brilliant with communication and check in was easy. My son especially appreciated the yummy cake on arrival. If visiting in summer with young kids highly recommend the Deal open air paddling pool. It’s literally a 5 min walk and free. Deal town is a 10 min walk along the beach front and there is a cafe and bakers 2 mins away too. Not a negative at all but something I just overlooked was that there is no washing machine so pack enough clothes if there for a week. I actually really enjoyed the break from washing to be honest so don’t let that deter you. A perfect cottage that would highly recommend.

Long weekend in sunny Deal
Small, quirky cottage in a perfect location. Very attentive owner, very well decribed in terms of facilities. Lovely surpise of cake and milk on arrival, the whole stay and process was very easy and would highly recommed this cottage as a base to explore the area. One note - very steep stairs - but to be expected for the age and style of the property.

Delightful weekend in Deal in this cottage. Some beautiful touches made it a very memorable stay. Thank you for the anniversary cake which was delicious! The cottage is gorgeous and everything we could have hoped for in terms of space, facilities, location. Would love to visit again soon!

Relaxing Christmas break
We were met at the property by the owner, who had also been easy to communicate with beforehand. The cottage is very clean and beautifully furnished. Location is excellent, one street back from the seafront, with an easy walk into town, or Walmer Castle in the other direction. The two of us, plus the dog had a really lovely break, and hope to return one day.

Vermieter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, Objekt mit viel Liebe zum Meer eingerichtet.
Insgesamt alles ok. Hätte an der einen oder anderen Stelle noch etwas sauberer sein können aber vielleicht waren wir auch zu genau oder anspruchsvoll. Die Fotos entsprechen dem Cottage und die Lage ist für Hundebesitzer ideal. Parkraum gibt es auch ohne Probleme und Bäcker und Fish & Chips gleich nebenan. Schönes Cottage in zentraler Lage mit netter, gemütlicher und ansprechender Optik und ideal für 3 Erwachsene mit Hund

Lovely little property in great location
We had a very nice break in this property, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. The only downside is that it's not particularly child friendly, but we were aware of this from the description.

Beautiful & comfortable bolt hole by the sea!
Great location, so close to the sea with scenic beach walks & very easy stroll to Deal’s lovely shops and restaurants. Living room & bedrooms were the most comfortable we’ve enjoyed in any holiday cottage! And it was a joy to discover what a charming & characterful place Deal is.

Comfortable, clean, well furnished with lovely decorations
We stayed in this cottage for a week late August 2018. The communication beforehand was excellent; contact after booking and more information prior to arrival - it was constructive and non intrusive. We arrived late evening, this was not a problem. When we arrived the owner gave us a run down on where to go for what, they also noticed that the light bulb in the outside light was out, this was rectified the next morning. We had a very mixed break, lazy mornings, days on the beach, trips to Walmer, Deal and Dover Castles (great value with English Heritage membership, kids get a free lanyard and can choose a badge when they visit).

Seaside Calm
This is a delightfully designed and peacefully located fisherman's cottage providing a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Mark - our host - was extremely welcoming. Plenty of space for two, including a simple backyard to sit and enjoy an outdoor breakfast. Close to the beach and only a fifteen minute stroll into the centre of Deal. Facilities are great and we look forward to a return visit.

Absolutely charming cottage
The cottage is absolutely charming, well decorated and nicely equipped kitchen. Great walking paths along beach nearby. Marc met us there upon arrival. I would absolutely recommend this cottage.

Too short a stay!
There are so many positive things to say about Pebble Beach..in no particular order here are just a few: No1 - this property has the option for a 3 night stay from mid week which suited the time we had away from work, this was quite hard to find particularly as our stay was during the half term holidays. No2 - the photos on the website are just as we found the property - beautiful décor, cosy and homely, sometimes reality is not what you might see in some website pictures - what you see is what you get with Pebble Cottage. No3 - The cottage location is excellent. On the 1st road back from the seafront our children couldn't believe the beach was practically their garden. Short walks into Deal town and to Walmer and Deal Castles, short drives up to Broadstairs and down to Dover Castle this cottage is perfectly suited to explore this part of Kent. No4 - Pebble Beach has everything you need, I was fortunate not to cook on this trip but if I had needed to, the kitchen is very well equipped. It was a lovely touch to find a cake in the fridge on our arrival with tea, coffee and milk available to accompany...yum! No5 - the house has a huge master bedroom with very comfortable bed, our 2 children in the smaller room in 2 singles were very comfortable too. The bathroom with a separate bath and large shower was spacious and very clean. The living dining areas also very spacious, were relaxing and beautifully decorated, a treat to come home to after plenty of fresh air. No traffic noise from the street outside, just the seagulls! The house has a courtyard garden with table and chairs which (if it hadn't been a chilly February holiday) we would certainly have made use of. No6 - Communication from Mark & Sarah was excellent, we called 30 mins prior to arriving and Sarah was waiting for us with a warm welcome, she gave us a few tips on things to do and more importantly where to get the best fish & chips - just around the corner on the sea front! On our departure, Mark checked in with us via text. We were away for a 40th birthday which I had very briefly mentioned when booking, Mark & Sarah had recalled this and we received a thoughtful gift on the day which was really lovely. It is all about the positives for Pebble Beach. We would highly recommend it as it's one of the best rentals we have used and we would certainly hope to revisit one day. Comfortable and well equipped cottage
A very stylishly appointed cottage. Warm and comfortable and very well equipped. It would benefit, however, from a curtain between the front door and the entrance to the living room to make it even more cosy. Parking is on road and if you find "your" place taken there are usually plenty of spaces in the location. The cottage is well placed for walking along the sea front towards Deal and Walmer. Mark was a very welcoming host and helped us settle in with cake and tea. An extremely good holiday cottage as described on-line.

Had a fantastic time!
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Pebble Beach. Had everything we needed. Such nice personal and thoughtful touches. Mark was there within a couple of minutes of us arriving and showed us around. It's in a perfect location that we didn't need to use the car at all. Plenty of eateries close by, so we didn't need to cook either! We thoroughly enjoyed Deal we haven't been here for over 20 years and it's such a friendly place. Every place we chose to eat and drink in was dog friendly. Would definitely recommend Pebble Beach. Many thanks to Mark & Sarah for allowing us to use their lovely home.

A last minute break required and was really pleased with this find. Host Mark very accommodating and the cottage was in great order, clean and comfortable throughout. Nice area, quiet road, close to several pubs and eateries no complaints! Thanks for having us.

Lovely place to chill out
We needed a break away from it all and pebble beach cottage was just right for us.We walked into Deal most days and found some lovely eateries and the sea views were great. Our dog had some good walks along the front. Mark and Sarah made us most welcome. Easy going but home from home,we will come again. reccomended place to stay..

Great little cottage, clean and convenient to Deal centre.
Pebble Beach Cottage is cosy but with everything you need for a short stay in Deal. The space is clean and homely, peppered with lots of seaside nick nacks. We had a wonderful time exploring the area on a sunny bank holiday weekend. The beach is a couple of minutes walk from the front door and a short stroll along the seafront takes you to the centre of Deal. Mark was a great host, attentive but not overbearing. We'd gladly return.

Schönes Häuschen ideal für Hundebesitzer
Ein liebevoll und mit allen wichtigen Sachen eingerichtetes Häuschen in kurzer Entfernung zum Kieselstrand mit herrlicher Promenade, die zum Bummeln einlädt. Große Grünflächen bieten für die Hunde eine schöne Spielwiese. Ideal, um von dort in Richtung Dover den Küstenpfad entlang zu wandern und die tolle beindruckende Landschaft mit den weißen Klippen zu erkunden. Der Vermieter Mark Benson war sehr nett und wir hätten ihn im Bedarfsfall jedezeit per E-Mail oder Mobil-Telefon erreichen können. Das Häuschen liegt in einer schmalen Parallelstraße zur Küstenstraße und somit in einer ruhigen Lage. Ein Parkplatz konnte immer schnell in der Nähe des Hauses gefunden werden. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und waren sicher nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Pebble cottage is situated in an ideal position for visiting Deal and other nearby towns
The cottage is very clean and attractively furnished. Also everything was supplied that was needed to make our stay comfortable. Books to read and blankets for the knees are thoughtful extras. It is in a quiet street with a few shops and pubs nearby.

Beautiful cottage, perfect location for a stay with dog
We arrived and met Mark who gave us a fabulous welcome, showed us all over, few tips for walking and eating, and really made Patsy our small dog feel at home. The cottage is gorgeous, with everything you need, decorated to a great standard, it was spotlessly clean, and an added lovely touch of fresh milk and a delicious cake in the fridge! Deal is a lovely town, lots going on, plenty of good eateries and bars, and the walks are perfect all along the front, flat, loads of benches to sit and enjoy. The people of Deal we met were very friendly and all seems to love dogs! Can highly recommend the bakery around the corner from the cottage! High street a very easy amble, location is just perfect and we can't wait to go back. Thank you Mark and Sarah! Will definitely tell all our friends of your cottage and recommend they get in touch if planning a visit to Deal. Mark mentioned he has other cottages in Deal and I can imagine a big gathering of friends in this lovely town !!

Comfortable, stylish and cosy cottage
Everything you could possibly need on a stay away from home - beautifully decorated cottage with real attention to detail. Very comfortable - superb location for beach, coffee shops, local restaurants/pubs and only a 10 minute stroll into centre of Deal.
