“Surprised my wife with a last minute trip. It turned out to be better than I could have imagined. We hardly left the cottage, everything we could have wanted to see or do was right there. We watched nature hiked the property, had bon fires, played pool and grilled most meals. It was our best vacation ever, it was so peaceful and private and relaxing. Also, we were very impressed with the cleanliness, my wife is a clean freak so she was extra happy that it was super clean. We highly recommend……

“Everything was great…except housekeeping. Left dirty glasses in the room, didn’t replenish coffee, didn’t replace complimentary water…after leaving a nice tip on day 1.”

“Quite possibly the most inhospitable and cold check in l have ever experienced. Such a pity as the property is generally amazing and steeped in history. The bath tub coating is peeling off and in need of re-coating. ”

“Would have rated 5 stars but we were put into a different room type ( single king) vs what we booked (2 queens) and said we requested that even though I had the booking email showing our request. The hotel was fully booked so they were unable to move us to our requested room type. I was promised additional loyalty points because of this but I haven’t seen those yet. ”
