“We’ve stayed at the Germantown Inn for the past three years and have always enjoyed it, and seeing Krissy, the friendly and knowledgeable innkeeper. We were sorry to see this year that the lovely afternoon charcuterie spread is no longer offered and the generous warm breakfast including homemade quiche is now a barebones collection of muffins and other empty carbs and a pot of coffee. Germantown Inn was a pricey indulgence that the extras helped us to rationalize. I feel less inclined to choose...

“Room was beautiful, elegant, and cozy. Breakfast was simple yet high quality. Bathtub was luxurious. Jazz was incredible. And it's situated in the perfect spot to walk to dinner, drinks, and coffee. We sipped bubbly from the porch and drank in the relaxed atmosphere. Been dreaming of a stay here for over 7 years--it did not disappoint! Can't wait till next time! ”

“The Breakfast was amazing. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff met us as we came in and welcomed us in the morning with breakfast and were very phenomenal hosts. The only recommendation for our room in #13 would be the addition of at least one comfy chair for reading but I do realize space is tight. Overall awesome and will return again soon!”

“Awesome historical inn. The rooms were filled with antiques and the history was wonderful. We were on the 3rd floor, next to the main street, which was pretty loud in our room, though we were so tired each evening, it didn't affect our sleeping. There is only a elevator to the 2nd floor, so you have to carry your luggage to the 3rd floor. The breakfast was very fresh and delicious. We ate at the restaurant both nights, outdoor seating was great, and so was the food! Highly recommend this lovely...

“Charming place to stay in Cumberland gap. It was lovely to be there. We enjoyed our breakfast and the 1919 restaurant was very good, which was just around the corner.”

“We had a beautiful stay in one of the cottages. The large jetted tub was wonderful! And, the beds and linens were super comfy. The cottage was very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Very nice stay! ”

“If you are looking for a place off the beaten path, this is it. Phone service is iffy until you get to the road (1/3 mile away) but there is host supplied internet for phones, etc. Our host, Dave, is very personable-- super guy. We stayed there while doing a tour of Tennessee state parks and this B and B is conveniently located for that. ”
