Beautiful property, Great location
My husband and I stayed here for about a week and the property was as described. The trees and surrounding area is beautiful and it was a great place to stay while experiencing Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon.

Lovely property with privacy and great natural light. We are a family of four - kids loved the queen bunk bed. All the amenities you would need and extremely close to Snowbowl!

Easy check-in, clean and easy access, convenient, pretty property. Water shut off due to snowy overnight. Maybe that could be foreseen and preventable. But Craig is very quick to respond and helpful. If definitely have gone back if not for water issue.

Great Stay!
We came to see the Grand Canyon and the location of the property was perfect. Just far enough from hustle of Flagstaff but far enough that we were greeted by deer on our arrival and saw deer around the property during our stay! The cottage is perfect-comfy like home with everything needed. Five stars is not enough-this property is absolutely perfect and the booking process was quick and easy. Owner always responded in a timely manner.

Fantastic Stay!
This is the second time we have stayed at this property and both times have been fantastic. The kids love the bunk bed room. We go for a Christmas getaway and the location is perfect. Just out of the city but close enough to Bashes if we forgot something! We will stay here again!

We had a great time there with our friends. It was beautiful, right in the pines, comfortable, and very close to downtown Flagstaff and NAU. The instructions and warnings from the property owner seemed pretty clear.

Peaceful 2 Room Getaway
We spent a couple nights in this lovely and quiet property. The property is at the end of a very private drive - just perfect if you want to get away from the noise of the city. Everything was clean and worked as described. We would stay again without a doubt.

A weekend in the woods
My husband, son (4), daughter (3) and I truly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is nestled amongst the pines near the base of Humphrey peak. We stopped and got groceries on the way in ( definitely go to Safeway, the Bashas is horrible). The cabin is about a 12 minute drive from down town. Plan to bring foil, ziplock bags etc if you plan on cooking/ having leftovers. On Saturday we spent the most at Aspen corner, the fall foliage was breathtaking. We continued up the mountain and road Snow Bowls new Gondola to the top of the mountain.You will find Truly breathtaking views from both the lodge and at the peak. If you have little ones, definitely bring a backpack, snacks and warm jacket for the top. On our way home we went to the Toasted Owl for breakfast then we stopped by Violas Flower garden. Their pumpkin patch is super cute and only $5 to get in. The Cottage was the perfect spot to host us and all of our weekend festivities! We will definitely be back!

Great Cottage
Very peaceful and quiet, but close to Flagstaff. Comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen and laundry room are fully stocked. Check in and out could not have been easier. Saw deer in the back yard almost every morning. A great home base for your Arizona adventures!

Great experience!
Staying here was a great experience. The house was clean and comfortable, the surrounding nature was peaceful but it was also convenient to town. Love that we were able to bring our dogs and there was an enclosed area for them. We'll stay here again when we visit family in the area.

This house has everything that you would need. It is very peaceful and quiet out in the woods. The back covered porch was very nice to on, even in the rain. Everything on one level was a plus for us. Would definitely stay here again.

Charming Cottage in the Pines
Our stay at The Cottage was lovely. The home was as advertised and fully stocked. We spent a lot of time on the back porch listening to the breeze rustle through the trees and throwing the ball for our labs. We also took them on long walks (leashed of course) on the quiet dirt roads. Even had some visiting deer! Beds and furniture were all comfortable. And internet worked well with streaming and searching the web. Close to town and all the stores, shops and restaurants, but serene in pines! We would definitely stay here again!

Great First Family Getaway
We really enjoyed our stay. It was our first trip with our infant son and the cottage was perfect for us. Check in and check out was very easy. Location on the edge of town was great. Amazing wilderness setting, but only a few minutes from town. The cottage had all the comforts of home, you won’t be disappointed.

Spirit hollow was the perfect choice for a couple to getaway to the mountains for hiking and biking. Location out of town means it's peaceful and quiet in the pine trees. We even biked from the house directly to trails.

Flagstaff retreat
The property was the perfect place to relax after a day of hiking in the area. The furniture was all quality and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed, including a huge air fryer and a Keurig and regular coffee pot. There was a great grill and very comfortable patio furniture to sit out and enjoy the beautiful evening. Next time we are hoping to enjoy the huge fire pit out back. The winds did not allow it for this visit. We can't wait to go back.

Nice getaway
great location with easy access to all parts of Flagstaff. Wish listing would be more explicit about not being able to utilize the 3 acres with the dogs as cops may be called by neighbors. The 3 acres did provide some privacy but was pretty much useless for the pups. Just something to keep in mind.

yeah, the neighbors won’t call the cops if a dog crosses property lines but that being said, we try to be good neighbors and keep our animals off other peoples property 3 acres should be plenty of land for the dogs and you’re more than welcome to walk them through the neighborhood on the streets just not on private property that people own with homes on it

Relaxing, well equipped and a wonderful covered patio for drinks in the evening. The view from the patio is beautiful and the Abert squirrels are entertaining. The Ponderosa pines send off the remarkable scent combination of pine and vanilla.

Secluded cottage that is close to Flagstaff and makes it easy to drive to Grand Canyon (1.5-2 hrs away). Stocked kitchen. Note - 2nd bedroom has bunk beds. Road in March, with melting snow, was primitive. Great stay!

Perfect Tranquil Setting
My husband and I were awed by the beautiful, serene setting of this cottage. The cottage was super-clean and incredibly tastefully decorated and well- equipped. The bed was super comfy! We cannot overemphasize the beauty and peacefulness of the forested setting. We would definitely stay here again in the future and highly recommend this clean, tasteful cottage to others!

Amazing little get-a-way
We recently stayed for an extended weekend to play in the snow. We had 5 in our party and had were very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with all kinds of spices, utensils and cookware everything needed for home cooked meals. Our family had a great time and will definitely book with them again in the future. House is kind of secluded, with lots of distance between houses. Which was great. We were advised to stick to the road if taking walks and not allowed to walk in forest area as neighbors would and have called cops. If you’re interested in exploring, may not be the place.

This is the only place you should stay in Flagstaff
This property is a hidden gem, tucked away in a private area surrounded by a pine tree forest. The stats were so bright you had to wear sunglasses. Gas range, big fire pit, extremely clean. I mean super clean. Great spot to stay, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if I were you.

Amazing Place to stay!!
The Cottage is awesome!! It is picture perfect. Its charming and cozy. The bed was comfortable and the heated floors were wonderful. The area is close to town, but out on its own. It is also a beautiful ride to the Grand Canyon and Sedona from there. It does have neighbors, but you wouldn't know it. The host, Craig, went out of his way to make sure our stay was perfect. You won't be disappointed if you stay here, but don't take my word for it, check it out yourself!! We will definitely be staying here again when we get back to this area.

Thank you so much for staying with us we really appreciate it we used to keep coffee in the house but unfortunately guests would take it all home at end of stay and got way to expensive to replenish every stay. Most guests that are coffee drinkers just bring their own . we have both keurig and regular coffe machines
